• It has a legal duty of care towards protecting the health and safety of its employees and others who may be affected by The Sovini Group’s activities, and that managing health and safety is a business -critical function.
In order to discharge its responsibilities, the management will:
• Provide an organisational structure that defines the responsibilities for health and safety.
• Regularly monitor performance and revise policies and procedures to pursue a programme of continuous improvement.
• Provide adequate resources to control the health and safety risks arising from our work activities.
• Encourage staff to identify and report hazards so that Sovini Ltd can all contribute towards improving safety.
• Communicate and consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety.
• Maintain our premises and provide and maintain safe plant and equipment.
• Provide information, instructions, and supervision for employees.
• Provide adequate training and ensure that all employees are competent to do their tasks.
• Carry out and regularly review risk assessments to identify proportionate and pragmatic solutions to reducing risk.
• Eliminate risk through selection and design of buildings, facilities, equipment, and processes. Where risks cannot be eliminated, they will be minimised by the use of physical controls or, as a last resort, through systems of work and personal protection.
• Only engage contractors who are able to demonstrat e due regard to health and safety matters.
• Bring this Policy Statement to the attention of all employees.
This policy statement and the full Health and Safety Policy will be reviewed at least annually and revised as necessary to reflect changes to the business activities and any change s to legislation. Any changes to the Policy will be brought to the attention of all employees.
This policy statement will be fulfilled through the adoption and implementation at all times of the Health & Safety Management Systems and procedures required by BS ISO 45001:2018.

The Sovini Group fully endorses the development, implementation and monitoring of an Environmental Management System that supports the ethos of continual improvement in environmental performance and contributes to the prevention of pollution during the delivery of our ser vices. This policy will be underpinned by the adoption and implementation of the requirement of the Environmental Management Systems and Procedures required by BS EN ISO 14001 and is fully endorsed by myself an d the Executive Management Team.

The Sovini Group is committed to meeting our customer’s requirements and to continual improvement. We will attempt to understand and balance their needs and expectations with our legal and regulatory requirements and contractual security obligations.
We will develop and maintain effective, documented ISPMS based on the requirements of ISO 27001 and ISO 27701, to ensure we have a documented method of control that protects The Sovini Group, its customers, and stakeholders. To achieve this goal, we have undertaken Risk Assessments and developed Risk Treatment Plans, from which we will adopt a framework with regard to setting targets/objectives to assess/measure the effectiveness of the ISPMS Management System Controls.
It is our objective to ensure that:

➢ Confidentiality of information will be assured
➢ Integrity of information will be maintained
➢ Availability of information and systems to authorised users
➢ Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is protected
➢ The processing of PII is in accordance with the requirements of Data Protection Act 2018 and the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulations (UK GDPR)
➢ Regulatory, legislative and contractual requirements will be met
➢ Business Continuity plans will be produced, maintained and tested
➢ Information Security, Privacy and UK GDPR training will be available to all employees
➢ All breaches of information security, actual or suspected will be reported to and investigated by the Designated Data Protection Officer
