InVision

"Hi, I'm Kate, Customer Voice Coordinator for One Vision Housing. A couple of fun facts about me: I’ve recently completed Level 2 in British Sign Language, and I’m currently in the process of applying to become an Army Reserve!
My role is to ensure your voices are heard and empower you to share your thoughts. One of my favourite aspects of the role is being out in the community, meeting incredible people with inspiring stories. Another thing I love is the variety— no two days are ever the same!
One day, I might be developing training plans, and the next, I’ll be attending customer groups, action days, or collaborating with local charities and community centres.
I’ll always champion our customers right to be heard. Customer Voice groups not only help shape our
services but also give people a chance to connect with others, share experiences, and make new friends. Without their input, we wouldn’t know what’s working well or where we need to improve. We make our sessions engaging, and I love seeing how they evolve based on customer feedback—it keeps everything dynamic and exciting!”
Ever picked up InVision and wondered how you could get involved? Pam did! Back in 2009, she saw an opportunity and jumped right in. What started as intrigue quickly turned into a passion for making a difference.
Pam loved the friendly, supportive atmosphere at One Vision Housing and became an active customer. Then, in 2012 you, our customers, chose her to lead the Scrutiny Team, where she
worked hard to make sure your voices were heard. Now, fast forward to 2025 and she's joined the One Vision Housing Board!
Pam's mission? To keep your experiences at the heart of every decision. She believes listening to you is key to making our services the best they can be. She's all about creating a welcoming, inclusive community where everyone feels valued and where your feedback truly shapes our future.

Spring is the perfect time to refresh your home and garden, and our Group partner Sovini Waste Solutions is here to make it easier than ever. Imagine saying goodbye to clutter and hello to a sparkling space!
Here are a few top tips to get you started:
• Start small - Don't try to tackle everything at once. Focus on one room or area at a time to avoid feeling overwhelmed.
• Declutter first - Before you start cleaning, get rid of anything you don't need. Sort items into keep, donate, or discard piles.
• Top to bottom - Clean from the top down to avoid redusting or re-cleaning areas you've already finished.
• Fresh air fix - Open windows to let in fresh air while you clean. It's a great way to naturally freshen your home.
• Don't forget outside: Give your garden a tidy-up! Clear out dead leaves, trim bushes, and get ready for those sunny days.

As we welcome the warmer weather, it's the perfect time to give your home a thorough check-up. Spring cleaning isn't just about tidying; it's also about ensuring a healthy living environment. Damp, mould, and condensation can become more noticeable during seasonal changes, so let's tackle them head-on.
Spring cleaning tips to combat damp, mould and condensation
Ventilation is key Open windows regularly to allow fresh air to circulate, especially after showering or cooking.
Wipe down surfaces Regularly wipe down condensation from windows and tiles.
Dry clothes effectively If possible, dry clothes outdoors. If using a tumble dryer, ensure it's properly vented.
Maintain consistent heating
Avoid sudden temperature changes that can lead to condensation.
If you notice persistent damp or mould, it's crucial to report it promptly. Early reporting allows us to address issues before they worsen, ensuring your home remains safe and comfortable.
We take your concerns seriously and are committed to prioritising customer health and safety. This commitment ensures we address hazards like damp and mould quickly and effectively.

Try these riddles
A.
I have keys, but no locks. I have a space, but no room. You can enter, but can't go in. What am I?
B.
I have a neck, but no head. I have a body, but no legs. I can be long or short. What am I?
C.
I am tall when young, and short when old. What am I?
Aries (March 21 - April 19)
You’re built for bold beginnings. Take the lead, but not every path needs to be a race.
Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
Stability grounds you, but change isn’t the enemy. Let the earth shift—you’ll still find your footing.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
Your mind is electric. Stay curious, but give your thoughts space to settle into clarity.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
You love deeply, feel fully. Let your intuition guide you, but don’t forget to care for yourself too.
Leo (July 23 - Aug. 22)
The spotlight loves you—and so do those you lift up. Lead with heart, not just roar.
Virgo (Aug. 23 - Sept. 22)
A = A keyboard, B = A bottle, C = A candle
Answers:
You see what others miss. Use your gifts to create, not control. There’s beauty in the unfinished.
Libra (Sept. 23 - Oct. 22)
Harmony matters, but don’t bend so far you forget your shape. Speak your truth with grace.
Scorpio (Oct. 23 - Nov. 21)
Intensity is your essence. Trust in change—it’s not destruction, it’s transformation.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 - Dec. 21)
You’re a seeker of meaning, not just movement. Let your curiosity lead you somewhere soulful.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 - Jan. 19) You climb steady and strong. Just remember—rest is part of the journey, not a detour.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 - Feb. 18) Your thoughts live in the future. Stay strange, stay true—the world needs your wild ideas.
Pisces (Feb. 19 - March 20)
Your dreams are oceans. Swim freely, but come up for air—you’re needed here too.
