We remain committed to not only delivering affordable homes but also leaving a lasting legacy of community resilience and prosperity.

To enhance the health and wellbeing of both new and existing residents, we have actively contributed to the transformation and development of the pond area. This provides a space for the community to enjoy as well as fostering a sense of unity and connection among residents. The newly created space could serve as a hub for social interactions, promoting a more cohesive community.

In addition to complementing the nearby existing nature trail, the space aims to encourage outdoor activities, providing residents with opportunities for physical exercise, nature appreciation, and a break

from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The carefully designed space promotes mental wellness by offering a tranquil environment for relaxation and reflection.

We extend our special thanks to Westshield Groundworks for their invaluable support in bringing this vision to life. Together, we have established a lasting legacy, ensuring that local residents can reap the benefits of this communal space for years to come, fostering a healthier, happier, and more connected community.

• A breakdown of the spend by business Environmental gains have been achieved through areas such as; innovative ways of recycling construction waste, using Euro 6 standard fuel-efficient vehicles, Fleetmatics toolkits, local recruitment and use of local suppliers to create a value of £43k.

Business Analysis

Our commitment to utilising local labour and suppliers is not just a business practice; it’s a pledge to foster positive impacts on the communities we operate in. We recognise that supporting local businesses contributes to the sustainability of the regions we serve, delivering social, economic, and environmental benefits.

This commitment is evident at Daisy Bank Meadows. When the original developer, Mulbury Homes, faced administration in 2022, we provided a lifeline to local businesses. Our initiative opened the door for local suppliers to seamlessly integrate into the Group’s supply chain, ensuring the continuity of economic activities in the region.

The response from local businesses was overwhelmingly positive, with several suppliers seizing the opportunity to participate in the development. As a result, 15 Lancashire-based businesses secured new projects or continued existing work, positively impacting the lives of 128 employees. Beyond creating job security, this collaborative effort has become a driving force in sustaining the local economy, reinforcing the link between business success and community prosperity.
