Autumn Term Edition

SEPTEMBER 2023

Welcome all our new and current students...

The Recovery College would like to welcome you to the start of our new academic year 2023/2024.

Journal Workshop:

Over the summer break, Sarah Richmond and I held our first Journaling Workshop over Zoom. The initial date was postponed due to staff sickness but then rearranged This was well attended and some very passionate and inspiring journal stories and styles were shared by students throughout Here follows some feedback that has been shared by our students who attended:

“It was great to get tips from others. Discussing ideas and experiences was really motivational It was a friendly, relaxed workshop I felt valued and validated. The idea of starting a journal club sounds fantastic”

It was lovely to hear about other people's experiences of journaling and how diverse people's ideas are. It was also a great sense of community to discuss ideas and be encouraged. A regular group would be a great idea!

The sharing of like-minded ideas
