Centenary celebrations for leading scientific instrument manufacturer Bellingham + Stanley See inside

Inside this issue When Leonard Bellingham and Frank Stanley formalised their partnership on the 8th May 1915 by registering at Companies House, little did they know that their legacy would be an internationally recognised brand operating as part of a $3billion dollar business quoted on the New York stock exchange; truly representing the Best of Britain!

Almost as soon as they started operations from their London basement site at No. 71 Hornsey Rise; they outgrew the space and moved to a larger facility at Markfield Road that became the home of Bellingham + Stanley up until 1976, when they moved to a purpose built manufacturing site in Tunbridge Wells from where the company still operates. Since first supplying the sugar

industry with refractometers and polarimeters for the purpose of payment and process control, Bellingham + Stanley quickly moved to other markets including the lucrative food & beverage industry, where to this day, their refractometers control the Brix, or concentration of liquid products made by many of the world’s most well-known brands. There have been many other milestones over the past 100 years. It is believed that when Bellingham + Stanley produced the Pocket refractometer in the 1930s, they were the first to take measurement to the field and still their hand held refractometers are commonly used within so many applications; from fruit growers, jam makers, automotive and aircraft-engineers to plumbers installing solar heat source collectors. In 1946, Bellingham + Stanley exhibited at British Industries Fair at Olympia in London and even the then Queen, or Queen Mother as we are more likely know her, and Princess Margaret

took an interest at the show and then, following the rapid growth in technological advancement in the 1960s, Bellingham + Stanley quickly saw the need to digitise their instruments so that they could be used by unskilled operators within a factory environment. So when Bellingham + Stanley introduced the world’s first commercially successful automatic refractometer in 1980, customers like Pepsi, Britvic, Heinz and Nestle picked up the advantage offered by the new RFM80 Series refractometers and purchased them for use throughout their global operations. Today, like many others, they remain as loyal customers of its successor,

Bellingham + Stanley has not only prided itself on supplying high quality products, including a full range of UKAS Certified Reference Materials manufactured in accordance with ISO 17025, they also operate ethically and in a sustainable manner. Complimenting ISO 9001:2008 quality management accreditation and recently awarded Safecontractor certification, Bellingham + Stanley has recently undergone the final assessment processes of ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 18001 (Health & Safety) and has been recommended for accreditation, which the company hopes to receive at their Centenary celebrations being held at Penshurst Place & Gardens this coming June. Custom Tape Applications automation that makes the most sense for them. Though our standard systems are mainly sold in the printing, packaging and graphic arts industries, we have also developed solutions for the electronics, furniture and automotive industries.” “Our systems use our patented ‘paste & cut’ technology that quickly and cleanly applies tape without the need for compressed air. This reduces maintenance costs and makes our machines very mobile: our standard systems can come to the work instead of having the work come to them. Moving the applicator heads to the desired position and adjusting for product thickness is fast and hassle-free. We use only quality components to ensure there is no untimely breakage of parts and data input is straightforward, logical and easy using a touchscreen.”

Biemme Adesivi, a major tape distributor and converter in northern Italy serving clients since 1965, established Enimac in 2013. Biemme was never fully satisfied with the tape application machines offered on the market, and so began developing their own. After several years of testing and given early clients’ very positive feedback, Biemme decided to form a separate company and make their products available worldwide. Enimac designs and produces standard and custom tape application systems and manufactures both stand-alone systems and solutions that can be integrated into production processes. Martin Buerger, International Business Development & Export Manager at Enimac, commented, “Our goal is to provide customers the degree of

Many of the problems we have seen before, we can deal with them using our years of expertise.” With offices and production facilities based near Milan, Italy, the company has satisfied clients in Italy, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, the Netherlands, the UK, and South Korea. Enimac ships products worldwide and offers support for customers whenever and wherever needed. One of Enimac’s most innovative products is the tape application system, X-Treme Light. The automatic adhesive tape application system has a manual feed and self-calibrating photocell for accurate reading of transparent, white, black, coloured and die-cut materials. It is equipped with micrometric adjustment for

product thickness of up to 10mm and can paste and cut tape up to 1mm thick at up to 35m/min. The X-treme PRO Wide Format Tape Application System also offers many benefits for users. With a maximum product width of 1,600mm, it easily accommodates the largest formats of offset printing and many formats of digital printing. With up to 6 independently programmable patented ‘paste and cut’ applicators, the system can accurately paste and cut tape up to 2mm thick including 3M VHB at speeds up to 50m/min to posters, floor stands, PVC, Forex and much more.

“All products shipped and supported worldwide” Professional tape application solutions from people who apply tape for people who apply tape

Enimac are currently planning to move into larger premises in order to cope with the rising demand for products. The company recently attended IPEX 2014 in London and received a fantastic response. Martin commented, “The show gave us great international exposure reducing our dependence on one market.” Coming up shortly will be IPACK-IMA in Milan in May, 2015 where we will be introducing extensions to our tape applicator head line. We are also preparing for DRUPA 2016 and several others are being considered. “For more news, pictures and videos on our products, you can follow us on twitter, @EnimacSrl, and connect on Facebook. We offer prospective clients the possibility to send us samples of products to which they apply tape. We’ll gladly send them a video of the tape application. Product Innovation Company of the Year

Tape Application Made Easy With Enimac

This highly efficient automatic adhesive tape application system is equipped with micrometric adjustment for product thickness of up to 10 mm and can paste and cut tape up to 1mm thick at up to 35m/ min. It features a manual feed and self-calibrating photocell for accurate reading of transparent, white, black, coloured and die-cut materials.

Solutions UK is extremely proud to feature Enimac and commend it for being recognized for its outstanding services in Product Innovation. The moderately new company was founded in 2013 by Biemme Adesivi, a major tape distributor and converter in northern Italy, who has been serving a whole host of clients since 1965. Because the firm wasn’t content with the varieties currently available on the market, they chose to set up Enimac, a separate organisation developing its own line of tape application machinery. The business, which is based near Milan, Italy, specialises in the design and production of both standard and custom tape application systems as well as the manufacture of standalone systems and solutions that can be easily integrated into production processes. One of Enimac’s most significant innovations is the X-Treme Light.

Another unique and notable product is the X-treme PRO Wide Format tape application system. With a maximum product width of 1,600mm, it can proficiently accommodate the largest formats of offset printing and many formats of digital printing. With up to 6 independently programmable patented ‘paste and cut’ applicators, the system can accurately paste and cut tape up to 2mm thick including 3M VHB at speeds up to 50m/min to posters, floor stands, PVC, Forex and much more.

The revolutionary products proved incredibly popular when they were showcased at the IPACK-IMA 2015 in May. Enimac took this specialist trade show as an opportunity to launch its two latest prototypes, the new tear tape applicator and the liner rewind system. They also showcased their X-treme 3D to highlight that they can do boxes and to show that they can integrate their applicator head technology into production lines, where the production line can command its applicator head.

development. “Our short-term plans include gradually expanding our distributor network and completing the certification necessary to enter markets like the US, Canada and beyond,” he concluded. “After that we will be looking at entering these particular markets, and we are hoping to do all of this within the next 12 months. We are also currently working with an international partner to develop two new fully automatic taping systems, which are due to be presented at DRUPA 2016.”

According to Martin, Enimac’s emphasis on one particular niche sets them apart as a frontrunner in the industry, “As we are part of a tape converter, our tape application solutions were developed from real tape application situations,” he explained. “Our tape knowledge is something a machine-only manufacturing company doesn’t usually have, and I think this differentiation places us in good stead for the future.”

For updates on the company, its products and its attendances at various events, check out the Enimac website and social media accounts using the contact details supplied below. In terms of its present business performance, it is markedly apparent that this year has been a highly successful one for Enimac: “The past twelve months have been very satisfying for us - we have had a steady increase of new clients, confirmation of our product quality, and additions to our product line as well as the recent announcement of our first international distributor, Newtown Tapes (www.newtowntapes.co.uk), whom we are pleased to have secured an association with and are sure will offer great service to the UK market.” When discussing plans for the future, Martin was confident that Enimac is set to experience further growth and

These universally sought-after products are shipped worldwide; Enimac has previously served customers in Italy, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, the Netherlands, the UK, France and South Korea. “Despite being a small company that is still growing, we have a diversified client base,” commented Martin Buerger, International Business Development & Export Manager at Enimac. “We have many customers in various industries across many different countries because we have the capability to offer individual clients the amount of automation they need.”

Roofing Specialists Commitment to Excellence

TapcoSlate: Strong, Versatile, Light, Recyclable Building Solutions UK is extremely pleased to present TapcoSlate – part of renowned company Tapco Roofing Products – with its greatly prestigious Commitment to Excellence profile. Incorporating unmatched beauty with unsurpassed durability, TapcoSlate boasts the next generation of premium roofing products. The specialist company prides itself on the effortless simplicity of its products; its roofing is easy for architects to specify and stress-free for roofers to install. One of the main differences between TapcoSlate and its natural slate counterpart is its exceptional sturdiness – it won’t break, crack or delaminate when dropped or walked upon and it even comes with a 40-year warranty. Its unique design sets it apart in terms of the enhancement of roof performance, yet it still retains the slick look of classic slate with its authentic surfaces and neat edges. A development of many years of extensive research, TapcoSlate merges modern technology with the beauty of slate to create a product which is functional and robust yet aesthetically pleasing and elegant. The combination of stunning colour and unmatched toughness ensures that these specially constructed architectural roof tiles remain unparalleled in the industry. The BBA certified slates are made with moulds cast from real slate in order to imitate the same peaks and curves from

the genuine product, and through-colour design and UV stabilization ensures that the design is kept rich and bold in colour (whether it is incorporating traditional colours such as grey and plum or more vibrant hues like sage green or blended tiles). In addition, TapcoSlate Mixes are also available for those who are after more of a statement style; as the tiles integrate multiple colours to create a roof which is no less than a visually appealing work of art. Further advantages include a built-in camber for a tighter fit, easy installation (with pre-marked nailing and exposure guides & spacers) and a lightweight structure (as low as 12kg per sq. metre). Suitable for conservatories, new build, self-build and refurbishment, TapcoSlate can be used on roof pitches as low as 14 degrees and its dry-fix roof accessories include mechanically-fixed ridge caps, the RidgeMaster roof ventilating system, slate vents, and dry verge. As the products are completely compliant with industry criterions, you can trust that the roofing will remain unscathed, even in wintery weather conditions. After being tested to BBA standards, it has been categorically proven that the TapcoSlate roofing can efficiently absorb wind, driven snow & rain, and water. All of the roofing is pre-curved with a patented InFlex™ design for maximum durability, rated for 110mph wind uplift and with Class 4 impact resistance. This ensures that sorting, clipping and drilling

prior to roof loading isn’t necessary, and eliminates the maintenance, durability and cost issues that are typically associated with roofs made traditionally from quarried slate and cedar wood. Another edition from Tapco Roofing Products is TapcoShake, a maintenancefree synthetic roof shake/shingle, with none of the notorious rotting that natural cedar often frequently shows. Instead, the roof is durable enough to minimise fire risk with the company’s top-level Class A fire resistance, which will be particularly appropriate for communities prohibiting cedar roofs or requiring Class A roofing systems. TapcoShake’s branded finishing delivers delicate shade variations with authenticity that is harmonious and natural in visual form. The shakes’ sublime, unified colour is factory-collated along with the correct proportions of their 10” (254mm), 7.5” (190mm) and 5” (127mm) shake widths to give you the ideal shake roof. Innovation is one of the key factors which have secured Tapco Roofing Products as a real trendsetter in the roofing sector. Artistically stylish, authentic and durable roofs can be produced courtesy of the company’s unique 15-colour palette and its exclusive compression-moulded composite Cedar Shake tiles. Greyfriars Colchester – Hotel of Grande Luxe providing guests with a peaceful and comfortable night’s sleep.

Built in the late 18th century on the site of a Franciscan Monastery, GreyFriars was an impressive family home with a fine Georgian facade and formal gardens. It remained a home until the late 19th century and was occupied by many leaders of Colchester’s society. At the start of the 20th century Greyfriars was sold to the Ladies of Nazareth for use as a convent. When they returned to France, the house became an education centre until it went up for sale in 2007. A period of several years followed, during which the new owner, OMC Investments Limited eventually acquired planning permission to create a luxury hotel and restaurant in GreyFriars. Meticulous attention to detail has been dedicated to repair the period features in the building and to restore it to its former grandeur. An essential issue to resolve was the problem of old windows and glazing, not only causing heat loss and draughts, but admitting the ingress and egress of noise. Set to become a hotel of grand luxe, it was of great importance to ensure the building performed to 21st century standards

Secondary glazing is fitted to the room side of the existing primary window. When high performance seals are used, secondary glazing can virtually illuminate drafts and reduces heat loss. Secondary glazing also has the benefit of improved noise reduction, attaining sound reductions to 45dB when fitted with an air gap of 100mm. Selectaglaze fitted over a hundred units using nine different systems, tailoring the units specifically to the project’s needs. Some of the windows were curved which needed to be carefully designed and some carefully treated to allow access to some beautiful original stained glass for cleaning and maintenance. The majority of the windows were fitted with 6mm toughened glass, but in one particular area 10.8 Stadip Silence was used for noise containment to prevent disturbing people outside of the building. Making the most of mineral resources

As a leading provider of specialised mineral materials and services for a range of industrial sectors, Francis Flower recovers, reclaims and recycles material from industry for the benefit of its customers and the environment. With over 50 years’ experience in milling, grinding, blending and storage of fine mineral powders, Francis Flower is equipped to fine mill more than 400,000 tonnes of mineral every year to as low as 40 microns. Its locations in Somerset, Cheshire and Cambridge, all have extensive silo storage facilities enabling multiple materials to be processed rapidly and without risk of contamination. Francis Flower is the owner of the innovative UK market leading brand, Gypsol. The environmentally friendly anhydrite flowing screed binder is the forefront of liquid screed development and innovation. The Gypsol brand has grown significantly since its creation two years ago and has gained the majority of the market. Made mainly from a recycled material, Gypsol Screeds offers a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to labour intensive and problematic traditional sand cement screeds. Paul Pepper, Managing Director of Francis Flower, commented, “The Gypsol product is a highly useful, innovative creation. Since introducing the product to the market 2 years ago, we have received a fantastic amount of interest and sales have soared. We provide the basis for your company to produce a high quality floor screed and we create the demand in the market for you to sell into. “Whether you are an architect, main contractor, self-builder or a flooring contractor, we offer the best advice so you have all the information necessary to maximise the benefit of Gypsol in your project.” The Solida system from Francis Flower (Northern) Ltd is designed to offer the mass housing market a highly cost-effective, efficient and environmentally friendly floor solution that combines easily accessible, existing technologies in innovative ways. The first process in changing to the Solida system involves the introduction of underfloor heating technologies into ground and separating floors in combination with GYPSOL based flowing anhydrite floor screeds. For surprisingly little increase in build cost, the

Solida system delivers significant improvement in desirability and asset value, increased levels of useable space, reductions in heating operating costs and improvements in energy efficiency. Currently the mass housing market in general uses solid concrete or suspended type ground floors with timber joisted separating floors. In general the heating systems used are radiator central heating systems. The Solida system seeks to change this, such that the heating systems are underfloor heating on all floors coupled with energy efficient heat sources such as condensing gas boiler systems or renewable heat technologies such as air or ground source heat pumps which may be more appropriate to higher code and carbon neutral developments. The first principal of the Solida system is therefore the introduction of energy efficient underfloor heating systems along with GYPSOL screeds. There are a number of potential positive side effects of this. When a change is made from radiators to underfloor heating the occupier gains more useable space in each room by virtue of the fact that they no longer need to avoid placing furniture against radiators. The generally accepted figure for this is 8% to 10% more useable space. This offers a number of practical and commercial opportunities to the house builder. Paul explained, “We have seen based on evaluations by, and discussions with, major house builders that the use of underfloor heating, given the above points offers greater desirability to purchasers. In some markets this has enabled the builder to offer higher asset value to buyers. “The system offers added value due to increased useable floor space, improved desirability and ‘kerb appeal,’ reduced energy use and subsequent cost savings to occupiers/owners, improved environmental profile and future proof design for higher code values.” The use of GYPSOL based screeds over the underfloor heating systems reduces the operating costs of the heating system. Tests using efficient and correctly designed underfloor heating systems have shown that using anhydrite screeds can improve the co-efficient of performance of an underfloor heating system by up to 25%. Additionally flow temperatures can be reduced by some 40 to 50 Celcius compared to the temperatures required for radiator systems or some 10 to 15 Celcius compared to underfloor heating systems in traditional sand cement screeds. This all adds to the desirability and helps justify a higher selling price. This also helps the builder to achieve higher code levels where required and to gain extra code credits in coded sustainable developments. Workwear Company of Choice

Bespoke Innovative Market Leading Solutions Solutions UK is pleased to dedicate the highly prestigious and richly deserved Company of Choice profile to APT Fabrics. The company was set up by enthused founder Stanley Russell in 2008, who has approximately 30 years of experience in almost every aspect of the fabrics industry, from coating to weaving and beyond. The entrepreneur wanted to utilize his knowledge in performance products and so made the informed decision to start up his own business. The multifaceted company – which is located in Northern Ireland - specialises in the provision of solutions targeted at the PPE and technical clothing market. To ensure that customers are completely happy with the overall result, APT Fabrics also offers customised fabric sourcing and modification services. Seminars, consultancy and technical textile training schemes are also available for companies all over the world (wherever necessary). The popular range of unique, trademarked, technical and performance fabrics are specially manufactured and are used by a number of individuals and organisations, including ambulances, utility services, military bases and police forces. The company prides itself on designing waterproof fabrics for all of the police departments in the UK – a fantastic feat which emphasises the scale of impact this specialist manufacturer has made within the sector. This effectiveness is one of the main reasons APT Fabrics stands out in the industry. “Unlike many similar marketed products, ours actually work!” exclaimed Stanley. “Sometimes it can be easy to buy clothing just for the brand name, but it’s so important to ensure that the purchased garments are actually appropriate for your particular line of work. “Any product we design comes with a 100% money back guarantee, so if customers are dissatisfied or believe the item of clothing doesn’t work then they have that fallback (in the unlikely event they aren’t happy with the product). This goes to show just how confident we are about all of our performance fabrics.”

breathable foul weather clothing (the Tempest range) and items with integrated waterproof, flame retardant and anti-static properties (the Typhoon range). Also available in stock is the APT Fabrics Evolution variety; thermal, moisture-wicking fabrics which includes an innovative range of performance fleece fabrics and the Praetorian range of flame retardant fabrics, including the Praetorian Fireblocker, which provides protection from intense radiant heat. Recent advancements developed by APT Fabrics include the Ultimate Protection range and new ‘Hidden Features’ and ‘Hidden Technology’ within the garments.

fully recyclable. In terms of future plans, we are looking to continue experiencing steady growth by producing even more leading products.” APT Fabrics received great interest when the team attended the trade show Meet the Manufacturer 2015 in London. The exhibition, which took place from 3-4 June, focuses on

Increased protection, flexibility and comfort in all temperatures is possible with the new Ultimate Protection line. Independently tested in various environments and proven to work in temperatures from as low as -30C to +30C, the waterproof garments hold in a constant temperature when moving from different climates, preventing any necessity to pile on the layers in cold weather. The new Hidden Features and Hidden Technologies range integrates electronic devices into the fleeces, allowing wearers to control their devices without having to waste time searching for them. The systems can be navigated from the arm of the fleeces, allowing the ability to listen to music, control tracking devices and take phone calls easily and efficiently – an impressive and revolutionary feature which will enhance productivity in many industries. The associated Aclimatise garments are manufactured using an outer fabric laminated to a breathable Polyurethane membrane incorporating 30% aluminium. A durable water repellent is applied to the ‘fabrics’ surface and the incorporated lining is moisture wicking and antistatic. When discussing future plans and recent developments, Stanley summarised: “As a company we are always innovating; coming up with outstanding products and considering how to bring new technologies into current workplaces. We pride ourselves on product innovation, developing products which pass all of the latest quality and safety standards.

Cat-trap – a new range of temporary exhaust filter units for diesel engines that are working under load Health & Safety Engineering has recently launched a new range of their popular temporary fitment exhaust filter units, designed for use on diesel engines that are working under load in confined spaces.

condition of the engine, quality of the fuel etc) Benefits Works at much lower temperatures than diesel particulate traps High efficiency filter removes harmful diesel particulates Combined diesel catalyst gives harmful gaseous reduction Low cost for short term contracts Easy to install

The World Health Organisation has recently confirmed that the carbon particulates generated by diesel engines can be hazardous to human health and are carcinogenic when inhaled. This can be a particular problem from nonroad machinery applications, which are often hired for temporary periods and typically operate with ‘stop-start’ cycles, creating variable conditions, which can be challenging to resolve. The new HSE Cat-trap filter unit combines a catalytic converter, to minimise harmful gaseous emissions, with a particulate filter which captures the harmful carbon particles. The efficiency of the particulate filter captures 95% of particles 0.2 micron and larger and over 99% of all particulates over 0.5 micron. This new combined unit offers a highly cost-effective solution to diesel exhaust emission control – lower harmful gaseous emissions and a direct control of the diesel particulates from start up. The unit is particularly useful for diesel engines that are producing hot exhaust emissions, such as construction equipment, mobile plant, or mobile platforms being used inside factories

or tunnels. We can provide effective solutions for diesel driven access platforms, excavators, dumpers, compressors, forklifts and mobile generators. Although there is a choice of solutions in the marketplace, some of these are expensive to buy, demand specific fitting requirements and are not interchangeable to other machinery applications for future use making them an expensive and impractical solution. The diesel catalyst will operate from exhaust temperatures as low as 150ºC. The exhaust filter element does not require any maintenance or forced regeneration and works immediately the engine is started. Periodically the filter element will require replacing, the frequency of which depends on operational use (hours run, number of stop/starts’

carried out by PPS suggested that by switching to an Atlas Copco GA11VSD+FF variable speed drive compressor, Crossgrove could reduce its annual running costs from £6,450 to around £905 – a saving of £5,545 pa. A new GA11VSD+FF variable speed drive compressor was installed and the relogged running costs were even lower than predicted: £770 pa, representing an annual saving of £5,680 pa.

The company was running 22,000ft2 of machinery from a larger than necessary Sullair MS3707 37kw screw compressor. When Dave Jones of PPS came to service the machine, he identified that there was potential for significant cost savings by moving to a new Atlas Copco variable speed drive compressor. What we did: A datalogging survey and simulation

Key benefits: Because the old compressor was so inefficient in its electricity usage, the new Atlas Copco variable speed drive compressor offered a significant reduction in running costs. With the additional benefit of the Kirklees Council grant, the final payback was reduced even further, to just seven months. Crossgrove was also impressed by the

small footprint of the new compressor, which takes up much less space than the old one. T +44 (0)1422 321772 sales@pennine-pneumatic.co.uk www.pennine-pneumatic.co.uk

Having specialised in rebuilding machinery since 1969, the business has secured itself as a brand with real longevity and great purpose in the tooling sector. It operates from two factory units; it occupies facilities based in Coventry and an office located in Warwick, complete with a well-equipped tool room featuring a stock of machinery and associated accessories. The well-established company boasts an extensive selection of machinery (including CNC Grinding, Lathes and Milling machines) and services, specialising primarily in grinding machines and lathes. It has the capability to stock, build, fix and recondition specialist apparatus, and orders can be taken for turnkey products. The team can also purchase machinery per customers’ requests, or take items into the workshop to be individually repaired or rebuilt. “With EG Newell you are guaranteed good machinery,” Ernie Newell, Founder of EG Newell, commented. “It is much less

expensive than buying new equipment, plus you can buy machinery from us which is no longer manufactured. We stand out from our competitors in the marketplace because of our specialisation - particularly in regards to grinding machines and internal grinders – for example, nobody else specialises on Heald Internal Grinders such as model 273A’s.” Its long-running prominence in the industry is due to continued hard work and commitment, as the business has overcome many economical obstacles. “Our persistence has enabled us to succeed in the industry over such a long period of time,” Ernie explained. “From 1969 – 1980 we had 36 employees and back then there were a series of recessions – we even started up the company during one! But we have weathered them all effectively, continuing to go forward despite experiencing such difficult financial times. “We bounced back because of the fact that we are good at what we do; people still wanted to use the services we provide because of our consistent professionalism and advanced expertise. At the moment we are doing exceedingly well, the last twelve months in particular has been fantastic for us and we have started off this year even stronger than before.

EG Newell has a large client base, with customers spanning various industries. Its machinery and specialist services are utilised by both small and medium sized companies throughout the country and beyond, serving organisations in Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Cornwall (amongst many other locations). It is indisputably the machining company of choice simply because of its renowned speciality for grinding machines and lathes; you will be unlikely to find any other business with such a refined knowledge in this particular niche. Customers from the past keep coming back. The machinery experts have worked comprehensively hard to maintain their position at the forefront of the industry and plan to upkeep this privileged status by sustaining their current level of customer service and dedication. When discussing its position in the market, Ernie summarised: “We have obtained much interest from exhibitions in the past; attendance has provided us with the opportunity to showcase our products and services and obtain new clients. One particularly memorable customer connected with us at a trade show and they have continued to use our services for over 10 years! We gain great coverage and custom through advertising and recommendations; so the plan is to carry on as usual going forwards, continuing to provide an incredibly good service for all of our customers.” Contact T +44 (0)1926 400 824/+44 (0)77144 12624 ernie.newell@hotmail.co.uk www.egnewell.co.uk
