Athletic Conferences
Our teams compete in the NAIA as members of the Great Southwest Athletic Conference and the Pacific Collegiate Swim and Dive Conference. For men and women, we offer cross country, golf, soccer, swimming and diving, and track and field; we also offer men’s volleyball. In each sport, you’ll embody the values of wisdom, courage, and compassion that define our community.

Soka’s official mascot, the lion, has long been a symbol of courage and strength — qualities that our athletes and coaches strive to reflect. In Chinese, the characters for “lion” are homophones for “mentor” and “student,” making the lion a fitting emblem for our university, where we’re dedicated to nurturing each student’s potential.
