NuBel is the restaurant in the Museo Reina Sofía that, with its welcoming and unique atmosphere, completes the experience for those visiting the museum.
It can be found in almost one thousand square metres of an avant-garde venue located under the mythical red dome designed by the French genius Jean Nouvel for the expansion of the Museo Reina Sofía. The interior of the restaurant, the work of the architecture and design studio More-co, by Paula Rosales, is a flexible system, which uses the concept of the fractal to structure the space.
From the plates to the rugs, circles have been used as a focal point, a meeting point, a place where the world of flavours, colours, sounds and images stretches out.

NuBel, the restaurant in the Museo Reina Sofía, offers haute cuisine which includes everything from brunch and signature cocktails to a menu full of colours and flavours from every corner of the world. This is thanks to our executive chefs, who use all their experience and knowledge to create attractively presented and delicious dishes.
Our executive chef Jose Olmos is responsible for gastronomy at NuBel, producing sophisticated, heartfelt food.
His professional career has allowed him to discover different cuisines and techniques, as well as offering him the opportunity to work with various masters of cooking in restaurants such as Guetaria, el Asador Donostiarra, La Dorada and la Castellana.
When preparing his dishes, Jose is looking for food that is enjoyed by all five senses, paying attention both to the flavours and also to the colour, textures, aromas and composition.
Pepe Rodríguez is a renowned chef who has been honoured with a Michelin star at his family restaurant El Bohío, impregnating our dishes with his extensive knowledge and experience.
The values defining each of his recipes are the top quality of the raw materials and the clarity of the concepts. These characteristics are shared and come very close to those of Sodexo itself, in our endless search for excellence and perfection in each of our services.

It is young, urban cooking that cherishes traditional cooking but brings it up to date with new ingredients and techniques that we have been discovering over the years.
The composition of the dishes follows the “less is more” approach, a philosophy that gives meaning to the apparent simplicity of the recipes.

MODIFICATIONS POLICY
The Organiser undertakes to notify Sodexo, with a minimum notice of 48 hours before the Event is to be held, of its intention to wholly or partially amend the object of this agreement or any conditions of the Event In this case, Sodexo will be entitled to demand the introduction of an express amendment to the agreement, which will require the prior authorisation of Sodexo in any case, as well as to cancel the Agreement with the application of the compensation scheme due to the Organiser withdrawing from holding the Event set forth in this agreement. Sodexo and the Organiser undertake to maintain the agreed financial conditions, provided that the Event takes place in keeping with the date, time, menu and facilities stipulated in this agreement Otherwise, or in other words if the Organiser amends any of the conditions agreed in this agreement, Sodexo reserves the right to review the prices established in Annex 1 and, where appropriate, these will be communicated to the Organiser.
Extending the planned period for the use and enjoyment of the facilities will always require Sodexo to be notified at least 48 hours in advance and the express agreement of Sodexo issued to this effect. In any case, the Organiser will be responsible for paying all expenses incurred due to not keeping to this period (such as overtime caused by the use and enjoyment of the rooms, personnel expenses or any other costs, etc ) If, during the Event, the Organiser requests changes or extraordinary expenses arise that are not set forth in the quote, these must be expressly authorised by Sodexo, who may invoice them from the day following the holding of the Event.
Sodexo will inform the Organiser of its inability to assign the use of the room(s) and/or facilities agreed at least five (5) working days prior to the holding of the Event, apart from in cases of force majeure for which no advance notice will be given and there will be no liability for Sodexo
The price for using the facilities and the other services booked is established in the quote agreed between the Parties attached as Annex 1. The corresponding taxes will be applicable to these prices. The payment of the amount indicated in the quote agreed between the two parties for this agreement will be made as follows: [The Organiser will pay 50% of the price shown in Annex 1 upon signing this agreement and the remaining 50% fifteen calendar days before holding the Event.] Payment will be made via certified cheque or bank transfer in the name of SODEXO IBERIA, S.L to the current account that will be specified.
In the event that the payments mentioned are not made by the established deadlines, the Organiser will lose all rights over the use and enjoyment of the facilities and any other contracted conditions, as well as over the amounts already paid. In this case, Sodexo may, from that moment, assign the use and enjoyment of the facilities and any other reserved conditions to a third party for its own use.
The Organiser’s tacit or express withdrawal from holding the contracted Event more than fifteen (15) calendar days before the Event is to be held will entail a loss of 50% of the price paid. A request from the Organiser to withdraw from holding the Event made within the fifteen (15) calendar days prior to the date on which the Event is to take place will not be accepted In this case, the Organiser must pay 100% of the total amount corresponding to that Event.
