INFO BAR
‘Filled with articulate and fundamentally encouraging advice’ Sunday Independent Families are complicated, even the ‘normal’ ones. In our early years we lay down the blueprint for being a partner, parent, sibling, friend, colleague, neighbour and citizen. But even the best of childhoods is imperfect and can create challenges in how we manage our moods and emotions as adults. In thousands of conversations in the therapy room, psychotherapist Richard Hogan has seen the impact of those early years – and he has also helped people to move on. Now, in Home is Where the Start Is, he shares fail-safe ideas and practical tools that help to redraw the blueprint. Home is Where the Start Is will help you become the best version of yourself that you can be. And if you are a parent, it will support you in giving your child the best possible start. ‘A book of hope’ RSVP ‘An essential guide for anyone who wants to break free from the cycles of family dysfunction’ Irish Examiner
