With our consultation service now online, our objective is to keep providing the highest possible level of care, that is even more important with so many of us working from home. Whether you're in need of an initial assessment, are on the road to recovery, or are looking for injury prevention tips, our dedicated team of experts are still here for you.

Our highly experienced team of Chartered Physiotherapists, can treat various injuries including back pain, hip, knee and ankle pain, shoulder pain and many different sports injuries. With many people working from home, it’s even more important to stay active and prevent injury. We thought it would be useful to share our top five tips:

1. You should try to find ways to get more walking in to your day - why not do some of your phone meetings whilst walking around your house

2. Stand up and straighten up at regular intervals

3. Your computer screen should be sitting with the top at eye level to prevent you rounding your back - try putting some books underneath to lift it up

4. Spend some time away from all screens and reading every day - try practicing mindfulness or yoga to rest your body and mind

5. Keep a good routine - it's easy to keep working when at home which only increases your time in front of a computer, reducing your physical activity and increasing stress levels

If you are struggling with pain or discomfort, we can help with an online consultation now available at a reduced fee of £15. A consultation can last up to 30 minutes and comprises:

* A full verbal assessment Visual assessment during which you will be asked to complete specific movements or exercises

* Visual demonstration or link to new rehabilitation exercises

* Half price face-to-face initial assessment/treatment for when we open if you pay for this during lockdown.

* Our plans for reopening are progressing well and we will continue to follow government guidance.

During the initial phase of reopening we will:

* Prioritise clients who have paid for appointments whilst on lockdown and/or had their appointments cancelled
