City manager retiring After 28 years as city manager, Terry Schwerm, will be retiring at the end of the year. Terry has been instrumental in developing Shoreview into the outstanding, vibrant community it is today. Some key accomplishments from his career in Shoreview include:

In 2016, Terry was recognized for his leadership and dedication with the James F. Miller Leadership Award. This is the League of Minnesota Cities highest award for appointed officials. The city has enlisted the Mercer Group, an executive search firm, to help hire a new city manager. We hope to have the new city manager start in January 2022.
