These monies go directly back to the community and fund the programs helping children affected by domestic violence and parental loss. Again, they cannot thank you all enough for such a successful year. Shown in the photo, from left to right are Marta Hummer, Tia Stauffer, Melanie Heck and Katie Vang. DURLACHMT. AIRY FIRE COMPANY Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese Children attending this one room school just outside Terre Hill spent their recess time to create an uplifting message that everyone traveling Route 897 can see and appreciate. The chain link fence provides the canvas and Mother Nature’s fallen leaves supply the fill for the letters of the message. Dried up leaves are tightly packed into the fence, and little by little the message begins to take shape with the help of many small hands and lots of dedication. These things which seem so simple can change a person’s day from one of being negative to one of positivity. Thank you Linden Grove kids for your gesture of kindness.
