Heatherwood Mountain Bike Park Opens Beside Rail Trail
The Heatherwood Bike Park adjoining the Warwick to Ephrata Rail Trail was officially dedicated during a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, October 19. Dozens of local supporters, dignitaries and riders came out to celebrate and witness the unveiling of this amazing community project. Countless hours of planning, designing and
physical labor brought this dream to a reality. Thanks to the support of Ephrata Borough, Mainspring of Ephrata and the Susquehanna Area Mountain Bike Association, area mountain bike enthusiasts can enjoy a place that offers a riding experience that is very unique in the region.
