WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 28 The Cocalico Valley VFW Post 3376 will host the 64th Annual Jack Frost Parade at 7:00 p.m. (Rain date Thursday, October 29). Food will be available for purchase.

Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese A Free Kids’ Coat Drive is being planned for Saturday, November 7 at the Ephrata Middle School cafeteria from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Families will be able to select from new and gently used winter coats and hats for their children in kindergarten through twelfth grade. Please plan to attend if your family is in need of winter coats. This year a local group of ladies knitted 210 hats and 100 scarves to be given away as well. Children need to be present to receive a coat. Shown in the photo are Emily Groff and Carly Snyder holding sample coats and hats.

Lititz mennonite Held Grandparents Day Celebration

St. John’s U.C.C., 659 South 4th Street, Denver, will host a Senior Social at the Reinholds Center, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. For more information, call 717-336-7600.

THuRSDAY, OCTOBER 29 Trunk or Treat at Brickerville United Lutheran Church, 340 East 28th Division Highway, Lititz, will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Rain or shine. There is no charge.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30 Colonial Lodge Community, 2015 North Reading Road, Denver, will hold a Trick or Treat Night from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. indoors. Fun for kids and the residents.
