Please join the Friends for their 14th Annual Dinner and Auction to benefit the Adamstown Area Library. The event will take place on Saturday, November 9 at Foxchase Golf Course in Stevens. This is an entertaining and fun-filled evening and the Friends largest fundraiser.
A preview will begin at 4:00 p.m. followed by a delicious dinner at 5:15 p.m. The auction, under the direction of auctioneers Art Pannebecker and Brad Wolf, will begin at 6:45 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome after 6:00 p.m. at no charge. Contact Patricia Acebo to purchase tickets, which are
also available at the library. Again, there will be a silent auction and a live auction, raffles and a 50/50 drawing. Included again this year is a “mystery wine table” where you can purchase a surprise bottle of wine. Items to be sold include many restaurant gift certificates, handmade jewelry,

Reamstown Scout Troop 60 Court Of Honor Ceremony Conducted Boy Scout Troop 60 of Reamstown held their quarterly Court of Honor Ceremony on Monday, October 14. The ceremony is where Scouts and their families come together to receive recognition for rank advancement, merit badges and other awards. A total of 75 merit badges were awarded to Troop 60 Boy Scouts. In addition, the following rank advancements were awarded: Scout Rank (Hunter Ferris, Kenston Lefleur, Austin Parmer, Logan Pierce and Alexander Porter), Second Class Rank (Chace Smith and Ricky Jacobs), First Class Rank (Ethan Herr) and Star Rank (Ethan Pierce and Colin Stetter). The Boy Scouts of Troop 60 meet Monday evenings at the Reamstown Community Center.
