Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese The Denver-Ephrata Area Rotary Club is pleased to recognize two Paul Harris Fellows. The presentation of Paul Harris recognition is The Rotary Foundation’s way of expressing its appreciation for a substantial contribution to its humanitarian and educational programs throughout the world. Rotarians Leanne Biers and Jeff Stauffer were recognized with Paul Harris Fellow awards. In a ceremony honoring Biers and Stauffer, Denver-Ephrata Area Rotary President Dave Davies stated that the efforts of Rotarians like Biers and Stauffer help “allay suffering, improve living conditions, and provide educational opportunities for young people throughout the world. This is truly a selfless act.” The Denver-Ephrata Area Rotary Club is pleased to have several Paul Harris Fellows who have been recognized in the past for their support of projects that save and invigorate the lives of people around the world. Among many efforts, Paul Harris Fellows have helped eliminate Polio, provide clean drinking water, support peace initiatives, and enhance international friendship and understanding. Shown in the photo, from left to right, is David Davies, President, Denver-Ephrata Area Rotary Club; Leanne Biers, Paul Harris Fellow; Jeff Stauffer, Paul Harris Fellow; and Gil Ochs, Secretary, Denver-Ephrata Area Rotary Club.
