Ephrata Public Library To Host Annual Book Sale In Akron Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese The Ephrata Public Library will be hosting their Annual Book Sale at Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) in Akron, PA on Friday, October 22 through Tuesday, October 26. The sale will be held in MCC’s Dining Room, located at 21 South 12th Street, Akron. The sale dates and times are as follows: • Opening Night, Friday, October 22, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (there is an admission fee) • Saturday, October 23, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. • Sunday, October 24, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. • Monday, October 25, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (bag sale) • Tuesday, October 26, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (bag sale) There are a variety of genres available including

fiction, non-fiction and children’s genres. In addition, the sale will offer CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, video games and puzzles. All proceeds benefit the Ephrata Public Library. Cash and credit cards will be accepted. Masking, regardless of vaccination status, will be required for everyone over two years of age. The Ephrata Public Library is a physical and virtual community center. Its mission is to provide resources and to promote opportunities for everyone seeking to improve, change, enrich, and enjoy their lives. The library offers free access to information reflecting differing viewpoints in order to support an open and democratic society.
