Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese At a recent meeting of the Denver-Ephrata Area Rotary, Casey Sawyer was recognized as the December Cocalico Student of the Month. Casey participates in student government, cross country and lacrosse. Casey earned Academic All-Star accolades for cross country and lacrosse, as well as membership in the National Honor Society. She is also a peer tutor, volunteers with Magisterial District Judge Nancy Hamill, and attended the USMA’s Summer Leaders Experience. Casey is a member of LCBC in Ephrata. Her college plans are to pursue a career in medicine at Penn State or the United States Military Academy. Casey lives in Stevens with her parents and brother Brady.
