Kibson dedicated his Eagle Scout Service Project to the Denver Elementary School. Several classes were in attendance to see the outstanding job he did in cleaning up the garden around the flagpole and making the area beautiful again. Kibson landscaped the area to create a Pennsylvania-native plant garden for the fourth grade science students. He worked with Texter Mountain Nursery to create the landscape plans. Kibson is shown with Denver Elementary students who appreciated his efforts and learned what one person can achieve with some effort.
