brilliant Fall Weather ushers In annual denver Fair
Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese Gorgeous weather provided the perfect backdrop for another memorable Denver Fair this year. Countless area residents turned out to sample the culinary treats, ride the rides, watch the many events and check out local artists and agricultural displays. The countless volunteers who make the event happen and keep it running smoothly are a great asset to the community and their hard work allowed kids of all ages to create lasting memories. Shown, from top left, are kids learning fire safety during the firefighters midway show, fair queens (left to right) Marissa Petery (1st runner up), Olivia Martin (winner), and Brianna Titi (2nd runner up), mom holds her son as he reaches into the duck pond, two friends grab a selfie fair memory, a young lad gets an advantage by ducking under the board at the ring toss, a produce entry, long lines for waffles and ice cream and Maci Miller of Ephrata smiles as the petting zoo critters swarm her.
