Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese The much-anticipated Annual Fiddlers Picnic, sponsored by the New Holland Summer Arts Association, was held on Labor Day in the New Holland Community Park. The sounds of fiddles, mandolins, guitars, dobros and numerous other musical instruments filled the air. From one end of the park to the other, talented musicians of all ages randomly joined together in small groups to play music for visitors to enjoy. Musicians included young and old alike and the park bandshell featured a variety of acts throughout the day. Shown are several views of musicians coming together to enjoy playing music for attendees.

(Wednesday evening show starting at 6:30 p.m.) – he is a comedian, ventriloquist, speaker and all-round funny guy; Exotic & Domestic Animals “Buffalo Beals” with a free petting zoo,

Chalk The Walk Creates Welcoming Back To School Messages Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese The Lititz Elementary School PTO held a unique event to welcome kids back to school last week. The PTO invited families and the community to join in writing encouraging sidewalk chalk messages at Lititz Elementary School to welcome students back to school. Students, parents, faculty and the community were encouraged to write positive messages, create amazing original chalk art, and express their caring for one another in this unique way. The event also included a shoe drive to benefit Lititz Elementary School students who are in need of shoes throughout the year. From one end of the walk to the other, bright colorful masterpieces adorned the sidewalk to illustrate caring. Shown in the photo is school Resource Officer Kenneth Wolfe from the Lititz Borough Police Department taking part in the event by creating a work of chalk art and getting a little help from some youngsters in finishing it.
