Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese A pleasantly cool day set the backdrop for students returning to school in the Ephrata Area School District. After an extended summer due to the Coronavirus pandemic, kids were eager to get back in class and rekindle old friendships as well as make new ones. Shown in the photo is a mom giving her kids a hug at Akron Elementary School, as well as a crossing guard making sure walkers are safe crossing the street.
