Adamstown/Ephrata Pools Get Ready To Host End Of Summer Dog Swims Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese Labor Day is traditionally the last day of swimming pool season, but for mans best friend that comes a week later when both the Ephrata pool and the Adamstown pool open their gates to welcome dogs of all types and sizes to frolic in their pools. The Ephrata pool calls their event the Dog Days of Summer Dog Swim, which will take place on Saturday, September 7 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. The Adamstown pool simply calls theirs Doggie Day Swim, and that will take place on Sunday, September 8 with dogs under 25 pounds from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m., and those over 25 pounds from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pets must have proof of rabies vaccination and a Pennsylvania dog license. Shown are Cisco on the left playing it cool with pink sunglasses, and Bailey on the right getting a feel for her boogie board. They have pool accessories ready to go.
