Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese Hundreds of eager spectators turned out for the solar eclipse viewing held at the Ephrata Public Library last week. This aweinspiring natural wonder captured the imagination of youngsters and adults alike who wore special eclipse glasses handed out by the library staff. The library organized special space snacks as well as games leading up to the special event. The last time the United States saw an eclipse was 1979 and the next one won’t be until 2024. Shown in the photo are several children and adults looking skyward with their eclipse glasses along with a boy wearing a rocket suit and Malloree Marshall of Brownstown, who created her very own spacethemed outfit just for the event.
