Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese On a recent summer day, rail trail users were treated to a rather unique sight. Bill “WoofDriver” Helman, dog advocate and outdoorsman, paid a visit to the linear trail and his husky powered 4-wheel bike was quite the attention getter. According to Bill his husky team can effortlessly do 30 miles. However, on warmer days he restricts them to around ten miles. They travel the Mid-Atlantic trails meeting new friends and enjoying the outdoors. The huskies are named Princess, Zarro, Chase and Jag. They are shown near Millway Road with the Reiff Property in the background.

Concerts By The Creek Season Finale Draws Large Crowd In Ephrata

Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese The always popular Concerts by the Creek series wrapped up for the summer with a great performance by Steal Your Peach. The group fuses the music of the Grateful Dead and the Allman Brothers and are known for their hard work ethic and paying attention to the smallest of details. A large crowd gathered in Ephrata’s Grater Park to enjoy the sounds they grew up with and be transported back to a time when music was very influential. Food trucks provided good eats for an all around great evening. Shown are some attendees getting into the music and the band playing on stage. HOURS: Mon., Wed. & Thurs., 9am-8pm Tues. & Fri., 9am-6pm Sat. 9am-4pm Closed Sunday
