Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese The Lititz Lions Club held its annual Car Show Cruise on the Main Street of Lititz last week and spectators turned out in large numbers to take in all the great cars on display. Over 200 cars lined the streets and ranged from the old classics to muscle cars to trucks and everything in between. Great weather provided the perfect backdrop to take in all the amazing cars that were on display. A DJ played songs from the past and good food was also available throughout town. Shown are four friends participating in the show as they sit and watch spectators enjoy the vehicles along the route.
5th Annual Reinholds VFW Car, Truck & Bike Benefit Planned
Denver Days Community Worship will be held at Denver Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. A freewill offering will be taken to benefit the Family Fund of the Cocalico School District. Free ice cream will be served after the service. If inclement weather, service held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 420 Main Street, Denver.

Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese The Reinholds VFW is busy preparing for its 5th annual Car, Truck and Bike Show on Sunday, August 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event is held at the VFW grounds at 250 Brunners Grove Road, Reinholds, and is free for spectators. There will be countless amazing vehicles on hand, and last year there were over 350 cars alone. Food, chicken BBQ, music, door prizes as well as breakfast will be available. A Chinese auction as well as trophies are also planned, with all proceeds assisting veterans and the community. There will also be more show car parking this year.
