Color And Foam 5K Run To Help Children Planned

SUNDAY, JULY 30 St. John Center Lutheran Church, 599 Reading Road, a few miles south of Bowmans ville, will host Bluegrass Gospel Concepts at 6:00 p.m. An offering will be received for the band and the church. Refreshments will be available.

Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese A Color and Foam 5K Run to Help Children will be held on Saturday, July 29 at 9:00 a.m. at Brubaker Park in East Earl. This 5K run/walk helps local missionaries from the area who are helping children heal from trauma, abuse and abandonment. The work has now spread to help children in multiple Central American countries as well as inner city Chicago. A portion of the proceeds from this event will also go to help teens in Ephrata through Friday Night Skate. This is the 5th year for this event and hundreds attend to enjoy the live music, food, giveaways, color blast and foam machine.
