Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese Come celebrate the best of summer at Terre Hill Days, Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21. Free live entertainment each day along with great food, games and carnival rides creates a family-friendly atmosphere for fun by all ages! Special events take place daily. A schedule can be found on the Terre Hill Days website. Be sure to join them on Thursday night for local bands night, along with a special ride-all-night wristband. Check out the annual Arts and Crafts Fair on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Other special events on Saturday include an airplane candy scramble, children’s entertainment, outhouse races and more! The festival comes to a close on Saturday with fireworks at 10:00 p.m. Shown in the photo is John Styer (event organizer) and Noah Keckler (committee member) with a special miniature golf activity that will be part of a Terre Hill Days fundraising activity.
The “A Night Spirit Of Of Gospel Lindbergh Music” Neill Hartley portrays
Charles Lindbergh in The Spirit of Lindbergh as part of the Lititz Public Library’s summer reading program. The Spirit of Lindbergh will take place at the library on Wednesday, July 31 at 6:30 p.m. Neill Hartley is a professional actor, director and educator. Neill has appeared with many regional theater companies including The Arden, InterAct, and the Philadelphia Shakespeare Festival. Neill is also the artistic director of Acting Without Boundaries, a theater company for young adults with physical disabilities. Neill is an assistant professor of voice and speech at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, and has acted as a speech/dialect coach for several professional theater productions. The program is geared for ages five and up. Please stop by the library or call 717626-2255 to register.

2019 Shoe-Fly 5-Mile Run Will Benefit Elanco Library
Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese The Eastern Lancaster County library is getting ready for their muchanticipated 2019 Shoe-Fly Five-Mile run happening on Saturday, July 20 at 8:00 a.m. The challenging fivemile course starts in Terre Hill and takes you through the surrounding farmland. Proceeds benefit library programs. A registration fee per person is collected online or you can register on-site the morning of the event. You may contact the library with any questions concerning this event at 717354-0525.
