If you enjoy spending time with your dog and you are looking for some fun, then mark your calendar for Sunday, July 18 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Pavilion #2 at the Loyd Roland Park in Akron. The

event is called “Bark in the Park,” and it is a free event that includes yard games, a doggie treat bag, costume contest, local treat vendors, a puppacino stand and a dog kissing booth, where owners can take a selfie or

two with their own canine companions. Ticket raffles, gift certificates and gift baskets are the prizes that can be won. Free food will also be available. All dogs must be on a leash and have vaccination records. If you

Terre Hill Days kicks off this week and will be held at the Terre Hill Community Memorial Park Thursday, July 15 through Sunday, July 18. The annual event features free nightly musical entertainment as well as

food, children’s activities, games and carnival rides. Over a dozen food vendors will be in attendance with an assortment of delicious food. Admission and parking are free. The event benefits the Terre Hill Park.
