The 33rd Annual Ephrata Youth Band Camp was held recently at Highland Elementary School. The camp is designed for students who have just completed grades four, five and six. The program gives students more experience in ensemble playing and large
group performance, and it provides a fun summer activity. The goal of the camp was to perform a concert, which was done on Thursday, June 24 on the Highland playground for friends and relatives. The band camp was developed and organized
by Mr. James Kimmel, the director of the elementary band program in the Ephrata Area School District. During the camp, Mr. Kimmel was aided by seven assistants. They were Caden Beyer, Anya Gilbert, Carly Gilbert, Tristan Hart, Owen Hertzog, Montgomery

Due to popular demand and big inventory, the Adamstown Area Library has decided to continue with the book sales at the Adamstown Borough
building, Route 272 in Adamstown, the site of the old library, from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. every Tuesday in July and August. A wide variety of
books, DVDs and CDs will be available. Masks are required. Donations will be accepted from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on
