Garden Spot Fire Rescue hosted their first Cadet Youth Fire Camp during the week of Monday, June 14 through Friday, June 18. During this camp, cadets aged 9 to 14 learned critical hands­on skills associated with fighting fires, vehicle rescue, technical rescue, water rescue,

Pages 8A-15A While part of the mission of the Ephrata Public Library (EPL) is accessibility to resources, not everyone can make it to the physical Library. Busy families, individuals with disabilities and others can find it hard

to get the latest and greatest at the Library. This spring, EPL launched a home delivery service for anyone within a three-mile radius of the Library – which includes Ephrata Borough, Ephrata Township, Akron Borough,

and most of Clay Township. Residents within the radius can enroll in the program and have materials delivered to their door. Shown preparing the next load of books for delivery are, from left to right, Cindy
