Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese Ephrata Mennonite School will hold their 31st Annual Benefit Auction on Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20. Friday evening will begin with a pig roast dinner at 4:30 p.m. with the auction starting at 5:30 p.m. Saturday morning begins with a buffet breakfast at 6:30 a.m. and a 5K Run starting at 8:00 a.m. The main auction will begin at 9:00 a.m. The auction will feature gift certificates, tools, household goods, lawn and garden items, quilts, and many other items. Food will be served throughout the day. All funds raised will go to the school’s operating fund and will benefit Christian education at Ephrata Mennonite School. To donate items or if you have any questions please contact the school office by calling 717-738-4266 or e-mail office@ephratamennonite.org. Senator Aument Visits Ephrata High School Art Class

SATURDAY, JUNE 20 Lost Paws of Lancaster will hold a Bingo and Chicken BBQ at the Brickerville Fire Company. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Bingo starts at 1:00 p.m. There is a cost. For more information, call Anita at 717-3146977.

He spent time in Miss Whitney Babin’s art classroom where he spoke directly with students and heard about their passion for art education. It is a priority of Senator Aument to be actively involved in every facet of Pennsylvania’s education system from meeting with parents and administrators, to observing classrooms and interacting with students. He is shown listening to young artists talk about their works.
