THURSDAY, JUNE 2 & FRIDAY, JUNE 3 The West Earl Lions Club will sponsor the Zerbini Family Circus at the West Earl Lions Park, Brownstown. Performances at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. There is a cost.

Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese There will be a Benefit Auction for Lititz Area Mennonite School on Friday, June 3 and Saturday, June 4. The school and auction are located at 1050 East Newport Road, Lititz. Friday, June 3 starts with a tasty Down Home Dinner, which is served from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There is a children’s auction that starts at 5:45 p.m. followed by a Middle School Auction at 7:30 p.m. Both of these auctions are only for bidders who are children. The main auction will start at 6:15 p.m. with tools and collectibles being sold at 7:00 p.m. and gift certificates at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, June 4 starts with an all­you­can­eat breakfast served from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Chicken BBQ is also available from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or until sold out. Many other food items, including baked goods, pork BBQ sandwiches, walking tacos, salads, soft serve ice cream and much more will be available throughout the day. Saturday starts with two auctions beginning at 8:30 a.m. The landscape auction featuring plants and flowers will be outside under the tent. Meanwhile inside the general auction will start. Some highlights are Theme Baskets at 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Men’s Auction at 11:15 a.m. and Special Features at 12:00 noon. This year the special features include a certificate for a hot air balloon ride, special meals, an eight­person tent and much more. For more information, call the school at 717­626­9551. Veterans Group Shares Experiences At Ephrata High School

FRIDAY, JUNE 3 The Lititz Historical Foundation will hold a sale at the Lititz Museum, 145 East Main Street, Lititz, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. of the collections of Lititz artist, the late John Andrew Wenger. All proceeds will go towards the improvements of the museum.

SATURDAY, JUNE 4 Schoeneck Elementary School’s Five Year Reunion will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Schoeneck Fire Company Fairgrounds. Bring a covered dish to share. Open to all who attended Schoeneck Elementary School. For more info., call 717­335­0003.

SATURDAY, JUNE 4 Ephrata Community Health Foundation will present the 63rd Annual Day In The Park at Grater Memorial Park, Ephrata, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event will be held rain or shine. Free admission.

The panel included ten veterans who shared their personal experiences and answered any questions posed by the students.
