The Adamstown Community Days event will take place over Memorial Day weekend, Friday, May 28, Saturday, May 29 and Sunday, May 30. The committee had a very safe, successful Appleumpkin Festival last fall after implementing some safety protocols and feel they can do the same for this year’s
Community Days. All events will take place in the community grove located just off Route 272, next to the Adamstown swimming pool. Shown in the photo, from left to right, are Molly Evans, Landon Foulk, Nolan Martin, Reagan Martin holding Grayson Lynch, Colden Martin and
Isaac Clark, and Maximus Walker in the back. As always, there is no charge for parking or admission to the grounds. There will be free professional entertainment every evening. To allow spectators to socially distance, the large tent at the stage area has been eliminated. In the event of

What is the Maker Movement? Sweeping schools and educational institutions nationwide, the Maker Movement inspires students to create without limits. Now in its third school year, the Ephrata Area
School District (EASD) MakerBus continues to make stops at the four elementary schools this year to help students create a variety of projects, including birdhouses, rainforest biomes and marble track “factories.” Addition-
ally, recent improvements to the MakerBus have included the installation of a new heating and air conditioning system, an outdoor awning, and interior cabinetry created by Ephrata High School (EHS) students and staff. “We value learn-
