NEW puzzles each week through June 9th and a SPECIAL CONTEST on June 16th!
Approximately 20 local students from Pathways, a homeschool community near Bowmansville, recently participated in the Lancaster County Longrifles Rendezvous and Encampment at Muddy Run Park. The students dressed
in historic period attire, slept in authentic tents and were immersed in activities of the period. They were also given the opportunity to tour and speak with participants who reenact this period in time. The Pathways curriculum is dedicated to
upholding Biblical truths, and their learning program is immersive, active, and relevant to the students lives. They strive to develop the whole child; spiritually, intellectually, socially and physically. Their three-day camp trip taught them about

“Where’s Oakley?” - Ready To Step Up To The Plate Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese Many may remember The Shopping News’ “Where’s Bella?” contest from a few years ago. Sadly, Bella went to doggie heaven in 2016, but now Oakley bursts on to the scene in a new contest, “Where’s Oakley?”. Oakley, a yellow lab, is the “son” of Lauren Maxwell and Nick Fetter of Rothsville, and he is all geared up to travel throughout The Shopping News delivery area. Each week readers can identify Oakley’s location and enter to win one of two 4-packs of tickets to the Lancaster Barnstormers’ for the 2021 baseball season. Look in the “Things To Do, Places To Go” section of next week’s issue for your first chance to identify his location and win tickets to a Barnstormers game. The first winners will be drawn on Wednesday, May 26, and their names will be printed in the Wednesday, June 2 issue. The winners will also be announced on
The Shopping News of Lancaster County’s Facebook page.
