Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese The Warwick to Ephrata Rail Trail is officially deemed complete after a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the 109-year-old railroad bridge that spans the Cocalico Creek. The trail is comprised of Akron Borough, Ephrata Borough, Warwick Township and Ephrata Township, all of
which have been involved over the last 15 years to make this dream a reality. A large crowd of trail-users and supporters were in attendance at this special event. The list of people who have come together over the years to work toward completion of this incredible project is too long to list, but a special thanks goes out to all who
have given their time and talents for the benefit of local families for years to come. Shown cutting the ribbon, from left to right, are Dan Zimmerman (Warwick Township Manager), Robert Thompson (Ephrata Borough Manager), Logan Myers (Warwick Board of Supervisors), John McBeth (Akron Borough Mayor), Clark Stauffer (Ephrata
Township Supervisor), Tim Snyder (Lititz Mayor) and
Billy Clauser (Warwick Township Planner).
