Getting To Know Your Local Auctioneers Featuring Kline, Kreider & Good Auctioneers Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese Spring is in the air and lots of folks are getting out to enjoy nature, fresh air, friends and a host of other interests. Despite warm days mixed with cool days, being cooped up like we all have been has given everyone a new appreciation for the outdoors and the many blessings God has given us. On a recent lovely spring day in the Lititz Springs Park, our photographer found folks celebrating and enjoying each other’s company amidst a glorious day. The top photo shows a group of local moms with their children as they relax on a bridge together, until a child’s shoe accidentally drops into the water causing a moment of spontaneous laughter, while one mom scrambles to save it. The bottom right photo shows the Ocasio family of Lititz, including, from left to right, Ellah, Rebekah (close family friend), Ayanna (birthday girl), Shirley (mom) and Juan (dad). The four of them hid behind the gazebo to surprise Ayanna on her 16th birthday as she walked home from school with friends. Finally, the bottom left photo shows Kailynn Fill and her good friend Jeffrey Anderson refining their slacklining skills; they simultaneously balance on one foot on a slackline rope attached to two trees. Slacklining is an activity that takes a lot of practice and perseverance to master, and these two practitioners are well on their way!
