The 1760-1960 Reamstown Bicentennial Book was originally created by Rev. John R. Albright, a pastor at Reamstown Lutheran Church in 1960 to honor the town for its 200th birthday. Forty years later, Ron Good decided it was time to bring the book up to date and titled this updated

version, “Reamstown 240.” A committee consisting of Brian Paul, Terry Ansel, Sundae Lausch, Craig Ebersole, Mark Ebersole, Harry Lorah and Ronald Good held a meeting, and seven months and 90 volunteers later, they saw the “Reamstown 240” book

arrive from the printer. Over one thousand books were ordered; free copies were placed in school libraries, historical locations, city libraries, etc. The remainder of the books were sold on the open market. The group agreed if there was a profit
