FRIDAY, MARCH 18 Blainsport Mennonite Church, 85 South Blainsport Road, Reinholds, will hold their Coffee House, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
SATURDAY, MARCH 19 The Bergstrasse Evangelical Lutheran Church, 9 Hahnstown Road, Ephrata, will host a Spring Fling, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Children will participate in small crafts and enjoy an Easter program. Lunch will be served and weather permitting, an Easter egg hunt will be held.
The Historical Society is pleased to announce the opening of “125 Years of Ephrata Borough, 18912016,” a new exhibit commemorating the 125th anniversary of the incorporation of the Borough of Ephrata. The exhibit, which will open on Saturday, March 19,
was curated by former Ephrata Mayor Clarence E. Spohn and is cosponsored by Ephrata Borough and the Ephrata National Bank. The exhibit will continue through Saturday, December 31, 2016. Probably the most memorable event to occur in Ephrata during the past 125 years was the crowning

The Akron Lions Club members held their donation night meeting recently with 16 of the organizations it supports in the community. This is a great time when the club can meet
with the leaders who represent other organizations that serve their community. The Akron Lions will donate $30,000 to these organizations, all possible with funds raised during the
