Winter doesn’t seem to be ready to relent quite yet, and even those who have a strong aversion to winter weather can agree that last weeks snow storm ranks right at the top of the record books for sheer beauty. Folks in every corner of Lancaster County were scurrying for their cameras, cell phones and any means available to capture the awesome beauty that was all around us. Shopping News photographer Donald Reese was out till the wee hours of the morning capturing the storm and the image shown here was taken in the still of the night around 2:00 a.m. at the Ephrata Cloister.
