Glance at Romance is back and love is blooming at the Adamstown Area Library. Friends of the Library member Helen Youndt has turned ordinary bags into charming, one-of-a-kind gift bags. The bags are filled

with eight romance novels and placed throughout the library where they serve as holiday decorations. They will be available beginning Monday, January 24 through Monday, February 14 (Valentine’s Day) for

$5.00 (exact change or a check will be required to purchase a bag). If you have “someone special” who enjoys reading romance novels, here is a unique Valentine gift for them. Stop by the library,

Samantha Ehrhart was recognized as the Ephrata High School November Student of the Month by the Denver-Ephrata Area Rotary Club. Samantha is a senior at Ephrata High School. She is a member of

the National Honor Society and is president of the German National Honor Society. She is a member of Link Crew and the MiniThon club. Samantha has provided volunteer services at her church’s

Bible school, as well as participating in a mission trip to serve the homeless. She has also volunteered with youth sports in swimming and with field hockey. She also was a member of the swim team
