Animal guests included a skunk, voles, a hawk, an owl and even a snake that a few volunteers got to hold. The entertaining and educational program was enjoyed by all. Garden Spot High School Recognizes Student Excellence
SATURDAY, JANUARY 19 A Backyard Fruit Growers Winter Meeting will be held at the Lancaster Farm and Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Rd., Lancaster, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is free. For more info., call Peter Fisher at 717-545-9848.
SATURDAY, JANUARY 19 Garden Spot Village, 433 South Kinzer Ave., New Holland, will host vocalist Sarah Zahn and jazz pianist Andy Roberts. The event is free and open to the public.
SUNDAY, JANUARY 20 A Designer Purse Bingo Fundraiser will be held at the Farm and Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Rd., Lancaster.
