Finding Your “Sweet Spot”

A strategy on how to craft impactful and profitable offers in the spiritual space

founder letter fromthe

The Importance of Humanness in the Digital Landscape

I’ve been thinking a lot about what makes our community so special, and I keep coming back to one thing: connection It’s at the heart of everything we do, and it’s what makes this space feel like home, even in the middle of a digital world that can sometimes feel a little too disconnected

Looking back at our most successful products, the common thread has always been that sense of togetherness. It’s never just about the content it’s about the people. It’s about knowing that, even if we ’ re spread out across the globe, we ’ re all in this together, cheering each other on, learning, and growing as a collective.

Even with all the amazing technology at our fingertips, from AI to social media, there’s something irreplaceable about human connection. We might be more plugged-in than ever, but what we ’ re really looking for goes beyond screens and algorithms. We want real conversations, real support, and real people who get us.

That’s why I believe so strongly in the power of community With so much information out there, it’s easy to get overwhelmed Now more than ever people can access everything they want to learn at their fingertips with the click of a button But what truly stands out is having a space where you can connect with others who are on the same journey, a space where you feel seen and supported.

We might be more plugged-in than ever, but what we’re really looking for goes beyond screens and algorithms.

So, as you ’ re out there building your dreams, remember to keep that human touch alive in everything you do. Your goal as the founder is to connect with your audience and for them to trust you. Trust is earned. So don’t get too caught up in the tech and tools at the end of the day, it’s the relationships you build and the community you create that will make the biggest difference.

Thank you for being part of our community Together, we ’ re not just growing businesses we ’ re building something much more meaningful

Infinite love and gratitude,

navigating ego vs. higher self in business growth: a practical guide

Growing a business involves making countless decisions, and distinguishing between guidance from your ego and your higher self can make a significant difference in your success and satisfaction The ego is often demanding, seeking quick results, and driven by a need for immediate validation It tends to bulldoze through challenges and focus on superficial gains In contrast, the higher self is patient and loving, guided by a deeper sense of purpose and long-term fulfillment. It aligns with your true values and takes a more considered approach. Here’s how to differentiate between the two and make choices that genuinely support your business growth.

Understanding the Ego vs. Higher Self

The Ego:

The ego is driven by fear, insecurity, and the desire for external validation. It tends to prioritize immediate gratification, competition, and personal image. Decisions influenced by the ego often stem from a place of self-doubt and the need to prove oneself.

Higher Self :

Your higher self represents your authentic self, connected to your deeper values, purpose, and long-term vision It’s guided by inner wisdom, integrity, and a focus on meaningful impact Choices from this place are about alignment with your core values and long-term goals

Practical

Examples and Tips

Setting Goals:

Ego Driven Goal: "I want to be recognized as the top expert in my field within the next six months to gain immediate credibility."

Higher Self-Driven Goal: "I aim to build a reputation as a trusted expert by consistently delivering value and focusing on long-term client relationships."

Tip: Align your goals with your longterm vision and values Avoid setting goals based purely on comparison or external validation Instead, focus on how your goals contribute to your true purpose

Making Investment Decisions

Ego Driven Investment: Investing in expensive marketing campaigns or flashy branding to impress others and outshine competitors.

Higher Self Driven Investment: Investing in quality products or services that genuinely enhance your offerings and align with your brand’s mission

Tip: Assess investments based on their alignment with your core values and their potential to create real value for your customers. Avoid spending money on things that are merely for show or driven by fear of being overlooked.

Handling Feedback

Ego-Driven Reaction: Taking criticism personally and reacting defensively or trying to disprove critics to protect your self-image.

Higher Self-Driven Reaction: Viewing feedback as an opportunity for growth and improvement and using it to refine your strategies and better serve your audience

Tip: Approach feedback with an open mind and use it constructively Evaluate whether your response is coming from a place of defensiveness or a genuine desire to improve

Building Relationships

Ego-Driven Approach: Networking with high-profile individuals primarily for status and potential benefits, rather than genuine connection.

Higher Self-Driven Approach: Building authentic relationships with people who share your values and can contribute meaningfully to your growth

Tip: Cultivate relationships based on mutual respect and shared goals Prioritize genuine connections over superficial networking for long-term success and personal satisfaction.

Facing Challenges

Ego-Driven Response: Avoiding risks and challenges to maintain a sense of control and safety or blaming others for failures to protect your self-esteem.

Higher Self-Driven Response:

Embracing challenges as opportunities for learning and growth and taking responsibility for your actions while focusing on solutions.

Tip: Shift your perspective on challenges from a threat to an opportunity for growth. Approach setbacks with resilience and focus on learning and adapting

Marketing Strategies

Ego-Driven Strategy: Creating content or campaigns designed primarily to garner likes, shares, and immediate attention, even if it doesn’t align with your brand’s authentic message.

Higher Self-Driven Strategy: Crafting marketing messages that reflect your core values and provide real value to your audience, fostering trust and long-term engagement.

Tip: Ensure your marketing strategies align with your authentic voice and mission. Avoid tactics that prioritize short-term gains over meaningful connections with your audience

Differentiating between your ego and your higher self in business decisions requires selfawareness and a commitment to authenticity. The higher self is patient and loving, focusing on long-term fulfillment and alignment with your core values In contrast, the ego is often demanding and seeks immediate results, driven by superficial desires By focusing on goals, investments, feedback, relationships, challenges, and marketing strategies that align with your deeper values and long-term vision, you’ll create a business that not only thrives but also feels deeply fulfilling. Trust your higher self to guide you through decisions and let your business growth be a reflection of your true purpose and integrity.

THIS MONTH’S LEARN: PEOPLE WANT MORE THAN JUST INFORMATION

Our funnel* wasn't performing as expected people weren't buying or showing interest in our entry-level product, Mystic Mentor Magazine, which affected sales of our higher-ticket offer, She Serves Universe. We realized that selling the magazine as a standalone offer wasn't enticing for cold prospects** So, we switched our entry-level product to the Mystic Business School community, including the magazine within that offer. This has been much more successful. We learned that community is what people truly seek they want more than just information; they crave connection, even in a learning environment

*Funnel - A funnel is a process that leads potential customers from learning about a product to making a purchase to ultimatelyascendingtohigherpricedoffers

**Cold Prospects - A cold prospect is someone who has had no prior interaction with your business and is unfamiliar with yourproductsorservices

Here’s the deal: both wins and learns are essential Celebrate the victories that confirm you’re on the right path and embrace the lessons that guide your growth. The universe has a way of aligning things perfectly, even if it doesn't always match our immediate plans.

All Access Pass

Welcome to All Access Pass, where we pull back the curtain on She Serves and show you how we grow our business while helping spiritual entrepreneurs make an impact. This segment provides high-touch research, development, and insights from leading minds in business and marketing.

For a while, our entry-level products weren't selling as well as we had hoped. We had an incredible run with a retirement bundle that sold well for over a year, but eventually, it started to fatigue. We knew we needed something new, so we tried launching a template bundle. Unfortunately, it didn't resonate with our audience. After that, we experimented with several other ideas, but nothing seemed to stick. It was a frustrating time.

Then one day, while I was out on a walk, inspiration struck. I remembered a curriculum we had developed for a mastermind program. What if, instead of starting from scratch, we simplified it? I counted the lessons, and there were 27 in total. That's when the idea for 27 Steps was born.

I was excited, but when I shared the idea with my partner, the response was less than enthusiastic. After all, we had been taught by some of the most brilliant minds in business and marketing that simplicity is key usually no more than three steps. But something inside me told me this was the right move. It was a download, a spark of intuition, and I knew I had to follow it.

We decided to move forward with the idea, and the response was overwhelming. 27 Steps sold like gangbusters, far exceeding our expectations.

The ultimate lesson here is simple but profound: even when everything else says no, if something inside you says yes, trust it. Your intuition can lead you to breakthroughs you never imagined, just like it did for us with 27 Steps.

In the world of business, intuition and psychic abilities are often overlooked tools that can provide significant advantages. Tana, a seasoned psychic and business coach, shares her journey of awakening her clairvoyance and integrating it into her business practices. This interview dives into how Tana uses her psychic abilities to guide her business decisions and help others do the same.

Awakening and Honing Psychic Abilities

Marina: Tana, can you share how you first realized you possessed psychic abilities and how you integrated them into your business?

Tana: Yeah, I think a lot of people, especially people who are living life this way and meeting others who live life this way and building community with like-minded people with the like-minded values and interests and curiosities and experiences even, I think a lot of people come to the realization that everybody has this inside of them and it's really not something that is separate from anyone, but is this sort of innate ‘thing’ where you just shift your focus I talk a lot about this in my own work and I was just pulling up some of my notes from previous conversations because I want to maybe even give a little weigh-in with some particulars and advice. But the thing is, we all have this ability; we all have it. And it's just simply a matter of shifting your focus, opening up your awareness, and asking or playing, rather, I spy, right? You're driving on a trip and your kids, or your spouse is like, all right, we're going to play a game. I spy something red And then suddenly everything that you're driving by that's red comes into focus

Marina: And how do you help others awaken and hone their psychic abilities?

Tana: We all have that power of consciousness and focus. And a lot of times people who come and work with me or that I'm interacting with, one of the things they say first and foremost is this: because the world doesn't always teach us how to honor this or to put it at the forefront, we don't always get the acknowledgement. So we don't always test it. We are not always diving as deeply as we could. And we get this imposter syndrome where we might say to ourselves, “Oh, maybe I'm making this up. ” Not to skip over to the business part, but working with you Marina, you started asking what is this journey of people who find me or work with me, not on a business level, but just let's say on a spiritual level, what is my mission? What is my message? And at the very beginning, at the very bottom of it, there's a lot of people out there that want to be intuitive because somewhere inside of them, they know they have it, but they're unsure how to validate it or they don't have any guidance to know that when you focus on it, this is what can occur. And so, one of the very first things I made while I was in your space Marina, was this lead magnet about 10 ways to tell the difference between a personal thought and a psychic hit

Marina: And how do you build confidence in these abilities?

Tana: In my programs that I teach, so just for any of you who don't know, I work with psychic readers or people who use their psychic abilities in their business. And so one of the first things we do before we get into the systems and the business side is we really bring your level, your awareness up to a pro level because everybody, like I said, has an innate consciousness within them, but they still have to build a little bit of their connection so that they really are making the it the strongest they can, which could be habits, mindset, practices, and routines. It could be things like this, but we also build competence by just flooding you with great tools, techniques, opportunities, and the mastermind conversations we have. The confidence comes after the competence because after you've applied all these techniques and you get all this data about experiences, you start to collect experiences.

We all have that power of consciousness and focus.

Integrating Psychic Abilities into Business

Gabby: How do you apply your psychic abilities to your business, especially when making significant decisions?

Tana: I always take risks if it feels right, even without proof. A lot of times, they're financial risks. If it feels good and resonates with me, I know that opportunity is on my path. I also focus on conveying concepts and ideas that have an energy felt by others. It's about converting that energy into a form that others can tune into. For example, I recently had a successful launch by creating a five-day challenge around my unique solution, giving participants quick wins and showing them the method. It was about serving them and letting spirit work out who needs to work with me.

Marina: Can you share an example of how you navigated a business decision using your intuition?

Tana: Just before this call, I felt a hesitation about a five-day challenge we had planned. Despite all the work we put into it, I texted my assistant, asking if she felt the same She agreed, and we decided to update the webinar instead It felt forced to proceed with the challenge, so we trusted our intuition and pivoted. This is what it looks like to run a business intuitively making big moves, sometimes throwing plans in the fire, and trusting the feel-good guidance.

Overcoming Challenges and Building Confidence

Marina: How do you handle the fear of making mistakes when using your intuition in business?

Tana: I have two passionate points about being wrong First, why are we so afraid to be wrong? It's like baseball; you don't selfdestruct from every missed swing. Focus on getting anything right because you'll learn. Second, we don't know the actual inner workings of the universe. Sometimes, what seems wrong to us might have a context we don't understand. So, don't sweat it. Go have fun with it. Approach it with a mindset of mastery and focus on where you're going with it.

Gabby: How can someone new to this start integrating their intuition into their business?

Tana: Start by noticing the state you're in. If you're stressed, it's probably not the best time for intuitive hits. Determine if the information feels new and resonates with you. Write it down and come back to it later. Understand that the process takes practice. It's like any skill go out and master it. Separate yourself from the perceived results and focus on getting good at it.

Marina: Tana, it was so awesome having you here. I just realized how long we've been talking for; way longer than what we told you! I'm so sorry I did have one other question, but I feel like we should potentially maybe in the future do a part two and the community can let us know. But basically, not to leave you guys on a cliffhanger, but one thing I would love to know is at what point did you decide and were guided to turn this ability and this very raw, vulnerable experience that you had into a business?

Tana: Definitely! Thank you so much for having me.

Understand that the process takes practice. It's like any skill go out and master it.

Creating a standout product in the spiritual space doesn’t have to be a mysterious process. Imagine it as a fun mix of your passions, what the market needs, and your unique touch. Let’s break it down with a simple approach:

Step 1: Think About What You’re Passionate About

MYPASSIONS

This is where you jot down everything you ’ re fired up about or what your gifts are. Think about your favorite practices, techniques, and topics that light you up. Whether it’s energy healing, mystical rituals, or innovative spiritual tools, this circle is all about what gets you excited.

Step 2: Identify What’s Missing In the Market

MARKETGAP

This circle represents what you notice is missing or underrepresented in the spiritual market. What are people craving that isn’t quite out there yet? Maybe it’s a new type of healing experience or a fresh take on traditional practices. Think about problems you ’ re facing in your personal life that the market doesn’t have solutions for yet. What are people asking for or complaining about? What’s not being offered yet?

Step 3: Overlap What You’re Passionate About and What’s Missing

MYPASSIONS MARKETGAP

THE“SWEET SPOT”

This overlapping area is where the magic happens. It’s where your passions meet the market needs. This is where you can come up with ideas that are not only true to you but also have a real impact.

The “sweet spot” is where you’ll flesh out your ideas. Use this space to brainstorm and develop products that combine what you love with what people are looking for. Whether it’s a new meditation tool or a unique healing practice, this is where your ideas can really shine.

By thinking about your product development as this creative, visual process, you’ll find it easier to come up with ideas that are both innovative and meaningful. Dive into this process and let your passions and market insights guide you to create something truly transformative!
