Our She Serves team discusses their favorite ritual

I want to share a story that I hope will inspire you to keep pushing forward, no matter the obstacles. My journey has been anything but smooth, but it’s a testament to the power of resilience, authenticity, and intention.
I started my career as an events manager, hustling day and night. Despite the stability, something was missing. I decided to take a leap of faith and start a t-shirt company. ally freaking expensive...too expensive to sustain.

The Key to Success Is Not Giving Up
I got on a flight to Thailand to source materials and turn this dream into reality. What it really turned into was realizing that starting a clothing label is really freaking expensive...too expensive to sustain.
Yes, I was disappointed but I didn't give up. I pivoted to creating a simple living blog. While it resonated with some, it didn’t feel quite right to me.
I shifted gears (again) and started a fashion blog. This felt more like home. I began to gain traction, but I knew I needed something bold to stand out. So, I did something unconventional I gave away a Louis Vuitton bag I couldn’t even afford in exchange for email subscribers. This was in 2015, and such giveaways were almost unheard of
Neil Patel, who is well known in the digital marketing and online landscape, wrote an article about “this girl who built an email list overnight,” and I was shocked to see that girl was ME! Suddenly, people were interested in my story They wanted to know how to start their own fashion blog, so I created a course on the topic. After I had made $17,000 in one month, I realized there was a significant opportunity in selling online courses. That’s when my career as a business coach truly began.

The point of sharing this isn’t to highlight the success, but to emphasize the journey. It wasn’t easy, and there were many moments of doubt and failure. But by rooting myself in good intentions and authenticity, the universe rewarded my perseverance.
I there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that the path to success is rarely straightforward It’s filled with twists, turns, and setbacks But if you stay true to yourself and your vision, and if you don’t give up, amazing things can happen
Keep going Believe in your dreams The universe has a way of rewarding those who stay the course.

YOU WIN SOME, YOU LOSE SOME
Welcome to this month's edition of "You Win Some, You Learn Some," where we celebrate victories and insights from challenges in the world of spiritual entrepreneurship.
THIS MONTH’S WIN:
We tested a new approach to our ad campaigns that seems to be promising. We are leaning on User Generated Content and having consumers, rather than Marina, endorse our membership program and highlight its features. Inspired by TikTok, this strategy is still in its early days, but the data suggests this will be a staple in our ad strategy! It is easy to create and demonstrates that consumers want to hear from other consumers
In the future, we want to include an affiliate program for She Serves members to promote our products and services and for every sale they get, they will earn a commission (of sorts) We have not actioned this yet, but we hope to soon if this approach continues to be successful.

THIS MONTH’S LEARN: THE OF FINDING ALIGNED
We've been working to scale our services and connect more effectively with our new soul audience of spiritual entrepreneurs Despite our efforts, we faced challenges in truly resonating with them in July. Last week, a private client came forward with invaluable insights, revealing that our branding and ad copy were excluding a segment of our target audience This information was a turning point for us. We realized that our clients are an untapped ocean of wisdom, holding the keys to our growth and success. It's wise to continuously speak to your clients, whether through DMs or surveys; there are golden nuggets of information that will serve you and your brand. They are far more than just buyers; they are partners in your journey, offering perspectives that can guide you to better serve their needs and aspirations

Here’s the deal: both wins and learns are essential Celebrate the victories that confirm you’re on the right path and embrace the lessons that guide your growth. The universe has a way of aligning things perfectly, even if it doesn't always match our immediate plans.

Tips for Strengthening Intuitive Senses
5 of the “greatest hits” for becoming a more intuitive entrepreneur
1. Embrace Silence and Solitude.
Tuning into intuition often requires embracing silence and solitude In the hustle of daily life, the subtle messages from intuition can be easily overlooked.
Daily Meditation: Setting aside 20 minutes each morning for meditation quiets the mind and creates space for the inner voice to emerge.
Nature Walks: Regular walks in nature, leaving phones behind, help connect with the inner self.
These practices can lead to clearer, more aligned business decisions. Answers to tough choices often come during these quiet moments.
2. Listen to Your Body

The body is a powerful conduit for intuition, often knowing the truth before the mind does. Physical sensations can provide valuable insights.
Body scanning: during meditation or quiet moments, scanning the body for sensations or feelings and asking
questions can reveal powinsights.
Gut Feelings: Paying close attention to gut reactions and trusting those feelings can guide further investigation.
Tuning into the body helps avoid potential pitfalls and identifies opportunities that align with values and goals, maintaining business authenticity.
3. Journaling
Journaling is a powerful tool for connecting with intuition, allowing exploration of thoughts and feelings in a safe space.
Morning Pages: Inspired by Julia Cameron’s “The Artist’s Way,” writing three pages of stream-of-consciousness every morning clears the mind and often reveals intuitive insights.
Reflective Journaling: Reflecting on daily experiences and intuitive nudges at the end of each day deepens self-awareness.
Journaling provides clarity during challenging times and helps stay true to the business vision, continuously guiding back to inner wisdom.
4. Trust the Process
Building a business requires patience and trust in the process It’s essential to trust that everything is unfolding as it should.
Affirmations: Using positive affirmations like “I trust my intuition” and “Everything is happening for my highest good” reinforces trust in the process. Vision Boards: Creating vision boards to visualize goals and dreams helps to stay focused on intentions and trust the path
Trusting the process helps navigate uncertainties with grace and confidence, knowing intuition is guiding towards the highest potential.
5. Learn from the Greats
Studying successful entrepreneurs who value intuition can be incredibly inspiring. Steve Jobs’ Wisdom: Jobs famously said, “Intuition is a very powerful thing, more powerful than intellect, in my opinion That’s had a big impact on my work.” His reliance on intuition in making pivotal decisions is a testament to its power.
Learning from the greats reinforces the belief in the power of intuition, reminding us that successful entrepreneurs have always trusted their inner compass

Strengthening intuitive senses is not just a personal development tool; it’s a vital business strategy. Embracing silence, listening to the body, journaling, trusting the process, and learning from intuitive leaders can help build an authentic business aligned with the highest self. Trust that your intuition will guide you through the toughest times, ensuring intentions remain true and grounded on your entrepreneurial journey.

In this article, I’ll be sharing how we efficiently create and repurpose content to maximize our reach and engagement. I'll walk you through our process of turning one piece of content into multiple pieces, ensuring a steady stream of valuable posts for our audience.
Step 1: Creating Core Content
The foundation of our content creation process begins as a snippet of me from one of our coaching calls. These snippets are packed with valuable insights and practical advice, making them perfect for repurposing.
Educational Content
Our first step is to use the coaching call snippet as an educational content piece. We extract key points and present them in a clear, engaging manner. This could be a short video clip or a detailed post explaining the concepts discussed. Place for Picture: Screenshot of the coaching call snippet.

Step 2: Transcribing for Carousel Posts
Next, we take the coaching call snippet and transcribe it using Rev.com to create a written piece of content also known as a Carousel Post.

Carousel Posts
Using the transcription, we create a visually appealing carousel post. Each slide of the carousel highlights a different key point from the snippet, o swipe through

Step 3: Audio Content
We then strip the audio from the coaching call snippet to create an audio piece of content. This format is ideal for our audience members who prefer listening over reading or watching videos.
Audio With Visuals
To make the audio content more engaging, we add sound waves and overlay a picture of me. This combination ensures the content is not only informative but also visually appealing.

Step 4: Implementing Themes
By repurposing the coaching call snippet into multiple formats, we ensure each piece fits into our established content themes.
Here’s how we integrate these pieces into our schedule:
Monday: Carousel Post (created from the transcription of the coaching call snippet)
Wednesday: Audio post (created from the coaching call snippet)
Friday: Educational Content (the original coaching call snippet)
By following this method, we efficiently turn one piece of content into multiple engaging posts, ensuring we consistently provide value to our audience. For a detailed guide on how to map your content schedule with different themes, check out Mapping Out Your Content Creation Schedule on page X.

We interviewed Helen Jacobs; a psychic, author, podcaster, and mentor who is passionate about helping guide spiritual growth by living more intuitively, on-purpose, and harnessing special gifts. She’s also Marina’s mentor and helped guide the seed of She Serves. And today she sat down with us.

Gabby: It's so good to meet you. I've heard Marina talk about you to our clients for the past year. And then yesterday, I started listening to your audiobook So, I'm fully prepped I loved every minute of it, and I haven't finished yet, so I'm super excited to finish and then actually speak to you. So, this is great.
Helen: Awesome. Well, I have heard a lot about you too, so I am excited to meet you. And you may have been listening to the book, but you would have had someone else's voice much nicer than my own, I'm sure.

Gabby: I mean, the voice was very nice, but your voice, the limited exposure that I have so far is also pretty good
Marina: So excited to talk to you today. And for you to meet as well and have this little container. But there's just so much to unpack with you, Helen. So just to give people a little bit of an intro, Helen has been my mentor since I feel like 2021. I was looking for a book on how to see auras. And so I went to this bookstore that I know of in the country, which is like, not really the country. It's just, you know, kind of outside of the city for the day So, I went looking for a book on auras, and I found one, but next to the book on auras was your book, Helen. The title immediately caught my attention. And then when I picked up the book, there was a testimonial on the front from this guy who was a business coach,
and he was the very first ever kind of businessperson I was exposed to back in 2013 It was the first event I ever went to, which I now know was a live webinar that sells an offer at the end, and he was selling like a ten grand coaching program. He's, you know, really thriving in business. So, when I saw his name, I just thought oh, that's strange. So, I took it as a sign. I bought your book, started reading it, and I think I was halfway through when I booked a session with you. And in that session that I booked, I wanted to discover my purpose in like an hour, and you immediately when, no, no, no, it doesn't work like that I also wanted to book a halfday mentoring opportunity with you and you asked, “What's your goal?” I said, “I want to know what my purpose is, and I want to know now. ”
And then you asked, “Why did you want to book this half-day session?” And I said, “Because I can just get it over with.” And so that began in 2021 I remember because you said to me something along the lines of, just so you know, when you do this kind of work, you may fall pregnant. And if you don't want to fall pregnant, just, you know, be careful. That was on our initial sales call, we’ll call it, and then two weeks later when we had our first official session, I was pregnant.
Gabby: Oh my goodness, I need a session now.
Marina: So, I was pregnant with my first baby and also an idea. And then, just to top it off, last year, I actually purchased one of your sessions again So, you have these sessions where you do energy forecasts for the year for people, for the whole year. I was telling Gabby about it last week. And in my session, I was listening to it last night, you were like, absolutely moving house in July. You're pregnant by this point. And that May, I fell pregnant; I found out on Mother's Day. And as I was listening back on it, I kept going, oh my God. It blows my mind, the accuracy and the sort of energy that you can tune into. So, there's the backstory for everybody of how we met and how long we've been working together I don't tend to recommend people work with other people very lightly I always like to be making sure I'm working with people and that I deeply trust them. Which is you, Helen, I adore you. And so, I really wanted to bring you on to talk about two big things that I know our community are very aligned and conscious about
being like purpose and intuition, as well. So, three big things. The third thing would be something people don't really know about yet, which is where you come in, which is an idea that you shared with me called Soul Seeds and how that is really connected to your life purpose, your soul purpose, and just wrapping all that into like, trust and surrender with intuition as well.
Helen: Whoa. Okay. Perfect. Thank you so much. And it's always really lovely because sometimes I'm recording, particularly those forecasts, and they go out into the world, and I may never know whether the predictions have come true or not. So, it's actually really lovely when I work with someone like that on, you know, for some time. And similar to what you just said, oh, can we just, like, cover our purpose in an hour? I will try and cover all three of those topics in a short, you know, little window.
Helen: Spirit's here because I am feeling very hot and very sweaty and, like, what? What are they going to do? I think maybe where I'd want to start with is that we seem, as humans with this, you know, brain inside our head, on our shoulders We tend to put a lot of pressure on ourselves, getting it right; that we're meant to be at a certain point by a certain time, or that we should have it figured out. And when it comes to soul purpose or even life purpose, there's a reason that it's called soul or life. We have all that time to explore and try and do, it's almost like once
When it comes to soul purpose, there's a reason that it's called soul or life purpose. It means we have all that time to explore.
we, for want of a better word, arrive, we can look back and go, that's what my purpose was, or that's how it's unfolded I think also in my work, similar to what you're describing, is this, like series of micro-purposes. I tend to think of it as the intersection between lessons and purpose. So just like we have a soul or life purpose, which are actually different but intrinsically linked, we can also have life lessons and soul lessons. And so, what I have seen time and time and time again is that as we're learning life lessons and soul lessons, it's like the gateway for the expansion of our life or soul purpose So, if you continue to turn up and you're doing the work, even if it feels incomplete or not enough or it's not fitting into some package bubble thing just yet, you're exactly where you need to be. So, when you learn that lesson and graduate, the next iteration is ready. And for me, when I remember that it takes off a lot of the pressure of running a business and needing everything to be, you know…
Marina: Ticking all the boxes. That would have been helpful for me to know, like seven years ago
before I ran myself into the ground as opposed to, like two years ago. And now I just think, oh, that makes sense.
Helen: Right? I also had to learn all of that And you and I have had this conversation a number of times. It doesn't mean that whatever we've done before is wasted or unimportant. It's definitely not. I mean, to that point, I would say that my beginnings in PR and marketing and even my journalism was a complete waste. And it's not nine times out of ten, whatever those earlier iterations are, it's like a portfolio in the end where we take that human skill and that soul gift, and we end up winding it all together in a way that only we can. So, it's not wasted But yes, it would be useful if we did know it ahead of time

Marina: But that's part of the journey, right? Like, not knowing is how you learn. Just like in daily life, sometimes you try and tell someone something, right? A lesson that you've learned, that they haven’t, but they’re not super receptive to it. Take that wisdom on. Because sometimes, they need to learn the lesson themselves, they need to go through it and make a mistake themselves, even though you knew that would happen. So, there's that kind of element as well. And I think, just when you were saying your experience in journalism and PR marketing, similar to me, I was an event manager for ten years and for a really long time I just brushed it off. I thought, oh, that was just a waste of time I was in my 20s just having fun But now when I look back, I think, oh, I'm going to be doing live events with staging and tech and streaming.
Helen: Oh yes, you are.
Marina: I can do that with my eyes closed; it doesn’t feel daunting at all. So, seeing how that’s interlinked with something that's, you know, a job I did, almost 20 years ago...
Helen: And so just having that moment Sorry to cut you off It's not just our jobs, it's also what we were doing as kids What were the things that we were learning? Why did households choose these particular parents or immediate family or the culture or the religion or whatever it is that we've been born into? None of it is by chance. So, we can't just discount our jobs. We also can't discount how the
people around us have shaped us, but also that our soul chose them. So, you know, we think that we ’ ve just gotta make all these choices and decisions and oh, what am I going to do with my business and my marketing? But actually, your best marketers are also in spirit. The people that you're connected to, to work with are in a soul agreement with you, just as every other person, whether it's in, you know, the container of a business or not, I don't think the outcome is predetermined. The agreements and the lessons and therefore the purpose - what you do with it is up to you. But yeah, it takes that pressure off.
Gabby: That's super comforting.
Helen: Also, super frustrating “What do you mean, I chose?”
Marina: Yeah, at times I've had that experience as well. Just interactions and thinking, oh, I had to learn from that. But God, that was uncomfortable to go through. So, with life purpose and soul purpose, and this might not be a simple, one sentence answer, but how are they different?
Helen: So, if you think about a soul having lifetime after lifetime after lifetime, the soul lesson or the soul purpose is with that soul throughout all those lifetimes A life lesson or a life purpose is specific to this particular lifetime. So, in this particular lifetime, me as a human, Helen Jacobs is learning XYZ in the parameters or area of exploration of a lesson or purpose that's there throughout my entire soul journey.
Marina: It's layered.
Helen: Yeah. Sorry - I said that's my really quick answer, but yes, it is layered Which is also why, you know, sometimes people are like, oh, but so many other people are doing the same thing as me or, you know, as a human, we can think there's not enough space for me, or my viewpoint isn't important, because there's all those layers. It is so complex and really probably impossible for anyone to be doing it exactly the same anyway.
Marina: Yeah. Exactly. I always say there's room for multiple of the same thing because they’re all very slightly different. It's the uniqueness of you. There's no carbon copy of you in business With your soul purpose and life purpose, how does Soul Seeds –and this is something I'm very excited to talk about – come into play? You know, you use the term seedling, where something's going to stem from and grow into soul purpose and into life purpose and how they are kind of shaped and formed and how you don't realize the potency that something can have. Because on your website, you describe your soul in one sentence, being like, you know, a new idea, like a book, a business, or a movement. And I remember feeling that in my body when I first read it, when I first was discovering She Serves and, realizing She Serves as a soul seed And my journey before that was also a Soul Seed because it was connected. I had to go through that to connect to this. And then this is going to now connect to something else as well. So, I have that peace with knowing this isn't the destination. I really want our community to be exposed to the Soul Seed philosophy
and goodness, and I feel like it's something everyone can really benefit from and just identify the tactical side of their work when they're doing something or they're feeling like they want to do something in their business, like a project, or they go to an event and they're led to some relationship that they make with someone, and then something comes from that. Just bearing in mind and tuning in to the idea that Soul Seeds are there, and how to potentially discover them.
Helen: Okay. So, I want to use a lot of metaphor and analogy here. And sometimes I get a little, mixed-up with metaphors; sometimes we're gardening and sometimes we're thinking in terms of pregnancy, particularly when the seed is birthed Pregnancy is a lot easier to match up But, when we are ready, when we've done so much of that inner work, we've been working with our energy, we've learned the lessons, we've been preparing for our purpose or, as you describe, Marina, the, micro-purposes, these soul seeds drop in, and as they drop in and the idea kind of percolates. In other words, if you were to plant a seed on the surface of the soil, it's not really got much chance of survival, right? The further down that you plant that seed, the more that the seed and its frequency and its energy is integrated into your being, the better chance of survival it has. If you also follow a very systematic way of and this is where I switch from gardening to pregnancy, but if you allow the conception, the implantation, the gestation, the laboring, and then you get to birth that seed, it has a
much better chance of survival too. Those seeds, like a child, have their own blueprint. So that book or business or movement actually has its own soul. We can think of it as its own soul entity, not just a commercial or legal entity, but it has a soul Therefore, it has a blueprint It has agreements with the clients, and once it's birthed, your role changes tremendously. Now with a Soul Seed, it's not like any other sort of creative idea, because you have to transform in the process. And this is why I say that our license and purpose intersect. And we do have this third entity, essentially the soul of this business or movement or whatever, asking us to become who we need to be in order to be the custodian or caretaker of the business or the movement or whatever it might be It is a really transformative experience, and it's different in energy and feel to, you know, oh, I've had this great idea. I could make money from it. This is on some other level. And I'll tell you, you can also make money from it, but you better strap yourself in for the ride while you're doing it. That gives a bit of an idea of you know, we're in a dance with this seed where, we're changing and this is really about birthing new frequencies and new energies into the world, not just, you know, the old models of doing business. This is really the new way forward

With a Soul Seed, its not like any creative idea because you have to transform in the process.

Educational Content: How-tos, tips, tutorials, and informative posts that provide value to your audience.
User Generated Content (UGC): Share content created by your followers or customers, showcasing your community.

Step 2: Prepare Your Content
Once you have your themes, prepare your content for each category. This step involves creating or curating the necessary materials:
For example:
Carousel Posts: Design engaging and visually appealing slides.
Quotes: Select meaningful quotes and pair them with eye-catching graphics.
Behind-the-Scenes: Capture authentic photos and videos of your daily activities.
Educational Content: Develop informative posts, infographics, or short videos.
User Generated Content: Collect and organize content from your followers.
Step 3: Plan Your Weekly Schedule
With your themes and content ready, create a weekly content schedule. Assign each theme to a specific day of the week.
Here’s an example of what that schedule might look like:
Monday: Carousel Post
Tuesday: Quote
Wednesday: User Generated Content
Thursday: Behind-the-Scenes
Friday: Educational Content
This structured approach ensures variety and keeps your audience engaged with different types of content throughout the week

Step 4: Create Content in Advance
To further streamline your process, create and organize your content ahead of time This proactive approach allows you to stay ahead of your schedule and reduces last-minute stress
PRO TIP: Model how we create our content in advance in the All Access Pass on page X. We share how we take one primary piece of content (a snippet from a coaching call) and turn it into three different pieces of content.
Step 5: Utilize Organizational Tools
Managing your content can be simplified with tools like Trello.
Here’s how you can set up your Trello board: Create a Board: Set up a new board specifically for your content schedule.
Add Lists: Create lists for each theme (e.g. Carousel Posts, Quotes, Behind-the-Scenes, Educational Content, User Generated Content).
Create Cards: Within each list, create cards for individual pieces of content. Include all necessary details, such as captions, hashtags, and posting dates.
Schedule and Track: Use Trello’s features to set due dates, add attachments, and track the progress of each piece of content.
By organizing your content in Trello, you can easily visualize your schedule, ensure you have all your content ready-to-go, and make adjustments as needed.
Planning ahead and mapping your content schedule with defined themes is the fastest way to maintain a consistent and engaging online presence. By following these steps and utilizing tools like Trello, you can streamline your content creation process, reduce stress, and focus more on connecting with your audience and growing your brand.
