News from our Principal
Ready Set Dress Up!
Last term we were very fortunate to welcome Peta Hungerford into our school as a regular teacher and she has brought so much new content to our school. It is very exciting, she inspires and challenges students while making them feel empowered and confident. We also had Jaimee Kiel from Richardson Dance Studio in Swan Hill teach several times adding more Hip Hop and Commercial Jazz to our classes. Our Vocal Coach Ash returned to our Musical Theatre class for professional guidance.

We purchased and fitted lots of costumes (with many more to go) and announced our concert theme (Stage & Screen). Concert information will be released in coming weeks.
Student news
A group of SSD Families attended Victorian Dance Festival in Warrnambool. This was another huge highlight and you can read more later in this newsletter!
04 VDF- Warrnambool
We had viewing week were we could show families and friends what we have been working on. There has been great progress and I am super excited to see the huge variation of work in our concert this year! We have 6 weeks until exams and then we can focus on the Concert!!!!!! Finally, we welcomed another fabulous teacher from Melbourne in Jess Phillippi. Jess will be covering Peta’s classes about 3 times a term when Peta has commitments at her Dance Studio. We continue our committment to Child Safety and Professional Development with Emma Brown attending the Come Together Dance Convention over the School Holidays. She will be sahring safe dance practices and new learnings with staff at our next Team Training. This term we celebrate being the Official location for Ready Set Dance with a special event planned for July 22nd, Please tell all your preschool friends
