POWER WHEELS RACE Saturday, March 5 Clover Dell Park 3:00 p.m. Ages 1-8 years $5 per entry Register by March 3 On your mark, get set, GO! Sedalia Parks and Recreation is turning Clover Dell into a racetrack on Saturday, March 5th, 2021 to host a Power Wheels Race! Children ages 1-8 are invited to bring their personal Power Wheel and compete in a friendly race! Check in begins at 2:00 p.m. The competition will be divided into four age classes ages, 1-4 and 5-8 competing separately. The first race will begin at 3:00 p.m. Trophies will be awarded for 1st 2nd and 3rd place for all classes. Enter to win a brand new ride! Registered Power Wheels must be original stock vehicles with no modified batteries. Helmets are required for participation.
EASTER EGG HUNT Saturday, April 9 Liberty Park 10:00 a.m. SHARP Ages 0-10 years Free Join us for our annual Easter Egg Hunt at Liberty Park! The horn will sound at 10:00 a.m. sharp, so don’t be late! The event is for children up to age 10. Look for designated areas for each age group. Don’t forget to bring a basket! After the Egg Hunt, the Easter Bunny will make a special appearance (so don’t forget your camera!). There will be a petting zoo from Thorni Ridge Exotics LLC!
PAWS IN THE PARK DOG BONE EGG HUNT Monday, April 11 Free! Horn sounds at 6:00 p.m. SHARP The Dog Park will close at 4:00 p.m. Dogs will not be permitted into the dog park until 5:55 p.m. Sedalia Parks & Rec and the Sedalia Animal Shelter are putting on an “egg hunt” for your 4 legged friends! Put Fido and Fluffy on leashes and bring ‘em to the dog park at Clover Dell Park. Dogs must be up to date on shots and
must be friendly towards other dogs or you may be asked to leave. Photos with the Easter Bunny will be available. Donations appreciated; items needed are: Bleach, Paper towels, Trash bags, Laundry detergent.
TWEEN FLASHLIGHT EGG HUNT Thursday, April 14 Clover Dell Park Approx. 8:30 p.m. (Subject to change with sunset) Ages 8-14 years $10 per Child Register by April 12 Join us out at Clover Dell Park for our Tween Flashlight Egg Hunt. Bring your flashlight and a bag to collect as many as you can to win some eggcellent prizes! Horn will sound at 8:30 p.m. SHARP!
HEARTS AND HEROES DATE NIGHT Saturday, April 23 Convention Hall 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Ages 3-12 years $35 per couple; $12 per additional guest Register by April 15 Enjoy an evening of dancing with your special girl at our Top Hats and Tiaras themed event. Our guests will enjoy a night of dancing with your special someone, dinner, activities, and a photo to remember this special “date.”
