Dear Members,
On behalf of our entire team, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your continued support and membership. Sea Palms is so much more than just a club it’s a true community, and that’s because of you. Your loyalty, enthusiasm, and love for this special place are what make Sea Palms feel like home for all of us
I’m pleased to share a few exciting updates that we hope will make your time with us even more enjoyable in the days ahead:
The much-anticipated reopening of the Sea Palms West pool is just around the corner! We can’t wait to welcome you back to relax, unwind, and enjoy sunny days by the water
Our Tiki Bar is in full swing with a refreshed menu we hope you’ll love. It’s the perfect spot to gather with friends and neighbors for great food and drinks after a round of golf or while enjoying the pool.
Thank you for your patience as our golf course heals beautifully following aerification Our dedicated team has worked hard to bring it back to peak condition, and we look forward to seeing you out there soon.
I’m also happy to share that EV charging stations are returning to Sea Palms We know how important this is to many of our members, and we’re excited to provide this added convenience once again
I am thrilled to announce that Sea Palms will officially become part of the Hilton family this July. This exciting transition will bring new benefits, including access to the Hilton Honors rewards program, enhanced amenities, and greater opportunities for the resort while preserving the charm and community spirit that makes Sea Palms so special
Most of all, thank you for being such an important part of the Sea Palms family. Your membership means more to us than we could ever fully express it’s your support, spirit, and sense of community that make Sea Palms the place we all cherish. We feel truly fortunate to have you with us, and we look forward to seeing you around the Club very soon
With sincere gratitude,
Jeremy Thomas General Manager
Dear Members,
th
Welcome to summer! As we all know the real summer heat comes around about now From July 4 to Labor Day, we all need some extra hydration and shade
As General Manager, Jeremy Thomas has announced we will have a newly renovated Sea Palms West pool available soon for the Membership to enjoy. The surrounding trees and pool will provide a great respite from the summer heat and humidity The existing pool, tennis, and fitness center rules will apply for all Members and any accompanied guests SPW Fitness will be staffed daily to facilitate your check in, ensure the safety of all Members and guests, and to address any issues This month will also see a refresh of the tennis court lines and additional material to enhance playability.
The golf course is well on its way to a full recovery from aerifying and necessary maintenance last month. As I stated in my last note, we will be rotating several holes each week to cart path only to allow high traffic areas to heal and promote growth of new turf Holes #4, 5, 7, and 13 will be the most affected This practice worked extremely well in the second half of #8 fairway and on #16 Thank you for your patience and consideration
Beginning July 7, we will be starting a new evening golf competition for fun, health, and camaraderie. The Thursday Throwdown will be a nine-hole, walking only skins game open to all Members and accompanied guests Details will be sent out from Golf Genius to all Members, LGA, and MGA We look forward to a summer of great shots and healthy game improvement
We thank you for your continued support of all things Sea Palms!
Sincerely,
Clark Spratlin, PGA Director of Golf

Dear Members,
The dog days of summer are upon us, and our Sea Palms Golf Course maintenance team is in full swing, gearing up for a bustling fall schedule. The focus remains sharp: enhancing playability and elevating the course’s aesthetics
As we fully transition back to bermudagrass from overseeded turf, our agronomy crew is applying targeted fertilization and cultural practices to accelerate recovery and boost turf quality. Key cultural practices include:
Verticutting, paired with frequent, light topdressing, helps reduce grain and smooth the greens. Regular shallow verticutting ideally monthly removes thatch without excessive surface disruption
Light topdressing following verticutting fills in grooves and promotes smoother putting surfaces When applied every 7–14 days during the growing season, it aids consistent ball roll and firm green speeds
1 Building turf density on greens, tees, and fairways is our top priority moving towards fall golf season
2 Once density targets are met, we’ll tune green speeds to enhance performance
Your everyday actions make a difference please continue:
Repairing ball marks
Filling divots
Raking bunkers
Spreading – not following – cart traffic
Keeping carts on paths near tees and Adhering to cart rules
These simple steps help preserve the int

What’s ahead?
Quite a bit! We’re refreshing our menus with a focus on quality, seasonality, and local flavor We’re enhancing service thoughtful, warm, and consistent And most exciting of all, we’re developing new events that go beyond the expected: interactive dinners, tasting experiences, themed nights, and family-friendly moments that bring our community together in meaningful ways
In just a short time, I’ve already had the pleasure of getting to know several of you and it’s made me even more excited about what’s possible here. I truly look forward to meeting many more of you soon and hearing your thoughts.
My door is always open whether you have feedback, ideas, or just want to chat about what’s working (or what’s not), I want to hear from you. Your input is a vital part of shaping the future of our dining and event experiences.
Here’s to new flavors, fresh ideas, and an exciting new chapter at The Club at Sea Palms
Warmly,
Luke Kelly Director of Food & Beverage luke.kelly@seapalms.com
Dear Members,
As the weather heats up, things in the kitchen at Sago are heating up as well! I am thrilled to have joined the team as the Executive Chef in mid-April. We have a lot of exciting changes coming to our Food & Beverage department that I can’t wait to share with you.
The Culinary Department is fully staffed and running at full strength. They’ve been hard at work behind the scenes, focusing on further improving kitchen organization.
We have launched our brand new Tiki Bar menu, perfect for enjoying the best flavors summer has to offer
We’re also in the process of updating our lunch and dinner menus, so stay tuned for a delicious and seasonal refresh!
It’s been a busy and successful summer so far, and we appreciate your continued support
We look forward to elevating your dining experience.
Sincerely,
Alex Myers Executive Chef
