2016 Year End Review: Another Strong Year for Real Estate in East Honolulu 2016 was an interesting year for real estate in East Honolulu. Homes priced under $1 million in decent condition continued to be very desirable to buyers, many received multiple offers and sold above asking price. The luxury market showed signs of slowing as homes priced above $1.5 million took longer to sell. Overall, the real estate market continues to be strong in East Honolulu driven by low inventory, high demand, and low interest rates.
