A SHIFTING MARKET IN EAST HONOLULU
The real estate market in East Honolulu is in a state of transition, as total sales for both single family homes and condos are down over 50% for the first two months of 2023. However, prices have remained strong, with the median price in East Honolulu for 2022 at $1,650,000, up 10% from the previous year. Condominiums and townhouses in Hawaii Kai saw tremendous price increases in 2022 as well, up 19% with a median price of $835,000. Overall, inventory in East Honolulu remains low. With Buyer activity expected to increase as we approach Spring and Summer, this is an excellent opportunity for Sellers to get great results.
