East Honolulu Home Prices

The real estate market in East Honolulu showed all the signs of a plateau in 2019, signaling that the typical peak of the market has been reached or has just passed. The overall median sales price for a single family home in East Honolulu remained the same as 2018 at $1,250,000. Some neighborhoods saw small decreases in price while others still saw modest gains. East Honolulu homes sold relatively quickly in 2019 with median days on the market of just 22 days. Overall, this is a very healthy and efficient market for both sellers and buyers with interest rates near three year lows. Many economists are predicting slight increases in median sales prices across Oahu for the next couple of years depending on a number of national and global factors.
