A Conversation about Conservation We were sorry to learn that Claire Sumners, a tireless and passionate local environmental campaigner, died in March. She was the driving force behind the Seaford Beach Clean and Plastic Free Seaford. Stephen Newberry

Andrew Tully

Back in 2018 Claire visited our office to advise us on how we could further improve as sustainable as possible. Here are four simple ideas we could all try: our agency’s sustainability and impact on the environment. 1 Don’t use single-use plastic like water bottles or coffee cups. She was friendly, energetic, full of ideas, and committed to making the world a greener and better place. Whether it was teaching school children the importance of caring for the environment, or advising businesses and organisations on how they could do their bit, Claire was a force of nature. She certainly had a positive impact on us. We’ve always done all we can as a local business to help the environment, with our electric car, solar panels and recycling, but the news of Claire’s premature death has reminded us to try and do more. Claire was passionate about making Seaford

2

4

Separate food waste from general rubbish for composting.

Thanks for reading, Stephen and Andrew
